So some movies suck but have good soundtracks. Some soundtracks are great but the movies sucked. Anyway, what's everybody's FAVORITE SOUNDTRACK and then maybe their favorite song on the soundtrack(s)?

Lost Boys was a great movie. I played Romeo and Juliet out in the 8th grade and the CD got all scratched so I can't listen to it anymore. My other faves:Originally Posted by Gynger

OH, AND I FORGOT-DONNIE DARKO. Great piano music
Thief. Good Tangerine Dream stuff.
LA Confidential. It wasn't just the music, it was how they fit the mood and lyrics so nicely to the movie. "Even foolish hearts can learn..." while the lifeless strangled young man is looking up... wow.
Blues Brothers.
The John Williams scores - Star Wars, Superman, Indiana Jones, etc. He always does a good job.
Little Mermaid - and Beauty and the Beast was pretty good, too. Sorry to be sappy about things, but there it is.
Pink Floyd - The Wall.
Oooooh, I almost forgot one I love:
The Godfather, I have the soundtracks to all 3!

The Matrix (the first movie, though the other soundtracks are good, too)
Prodigy "Mindfields"
Rob Zombie--I forget which one by him, I play the same version from his CD it's on.
Mortal Kombat (I forget which one is best, I will look it up and come back, I have three or four of them--one of which was mediocre)
Psychosonic "Panic Control"
Future Sound Of London--I forget the name, but I play it all the time, lol.
KMFDM--"Megalomaniac"
Romeo and Juliet (the modern version) There are two excellent slower sexy songs on this one.
Strange Days--This has a great Phil Collins/Deep Forest track on it, as well as some other cool stuff.
Queen of the Damned
There are lots more great soundtracks, but I am too tired now to think of them.
