that movie sucked but not even close to as bad as Mr. 3000

I try to avoid bad movies nowadays, go see the ones I really want to see on the big screen, and then listen to the buzz before I decide whether to get the DVD.
Having said that, I sure was glad, walking out of the final Matrix movie, that the series was finally done.
Alexander, Matrix, Mr. 3000, The polar express, The Grudge, National Treasure, Friday Night lights, Team America, Oceans 12, Closer, and I am sure I could think of more.

Saw: hands down, the shittiest.
Van Helsing is a close second....

/I/ thought Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow was the awfulest, but then again I didn't see that much either.
Other movies that I thought were okay but not that great or bad:
Collateral
Alexander
Without a Paddle
"I still have my name
I still have my face
I have not run away from home
Doesn't seem so long
If I now embrace
Every single thing I've never known"

christmas with the kranks was pretty bad

Surviving Christmas has to be one of the worst movies ever made. Sometimes, I need to learn to turn down a free movie.
Aliens Vs Predator. Those aliens must have been hopped up on growth hormone or something because they sure grew up faster than ever before, and the Predators made the newest addition to their arsenal of superweapons... STEROIDS!
Ugh... I was like "I can not believe i hate this movie..."

Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow
Shaun of the Dead
Anaconda: the hunt for the blood orchid

I have a feeling I may get crap for this but, I vote for Dawn of the Dead. I hated it!! Had to fast-forward more than an hour.![]()
Because there ain't no tits on the radio

Worst movie hands down was "The Day After Tomorrow".n:
If made for TV movies count, "10.5" (earthquake film) and "3" (that Dale Earnhardt movie on ESPN) were pretty bad too.

I really like Dawn of The Dead AND Alien V. PredatorOriginally Posted by hardkandee

Thanks for the tip on this one: "Sky Captain and....", even the trailer looked bad for my tastes... I just watched Lost Innocence , and was about to turn it off, but then the thin plot kinda got a little better. It was not bad, if you like very soft sex with very cute ladies, so that one didn't make it.
So if I can only vote for one, I guess it's gotta be "Secret Window". I expected more in a movie with Johnny Depp and it just did not captivate my attention like I expect a thriller to... It's one window they could keep secret and have not bothered to open, although the plot was a bit of a twister, and Johnny Depp was great in his performance. I kinda think they had shot more endings for this film because they needed more impact. oh well...
Hey a cool thing I just found out about is a deal for 15 bucks at Blockbuster for one month that allows unlimited rentals - two at a time for an entire month, (for the first month sign-up only). I love movies so the ones I picked up tonight are approaching the 50 cent mark and that's in like 10 days. Another kewl thing is that the movie does not have to be back in two days - so it's good that way. I don't know if every BB is doing this, but for a month, I will see movies that I would not have bothered to otherwise, then cancel.
oh yeah, i kept thinking - "more dead people walking around..." even tho I hear some of them do run a bit, but now with the good words I gotta rent "Dawn of the Dead" s0 thanks!
Worst are
Lord of the rings return of the king
dare devil
After the sunset
Shall we dance
Thunder birds
Wimbledon
catwoman <------- realy sucked
The only Bush i like is between your legs.

van helsing was bull
i was close to leave after 20 minutes and ask my 5 bucks back...
I fell asleep during "Secret Window"....ahem.
"The Day After Tommorrow"- GRRRR. This was not cool. Environmental Science is WAY more boring. LOL.

Hey bigteninch (LOL that sounds funny) I have the movie pass from Blockbuster too. One thing that sucks big time about it is that you can only use it at the store you got the pass from.
I may have many faults, but being wrong ain't one of them.
I actually liked Van Helsing too, but the whole thing with the brother and sister got a little weird after a while as was distracting. I agree, the day after tomorrow was pretty bad, but I liked the science aspect of it and the crowd interaction, I find mob scenes facinating in terms of social behavior, but a lot of story was lame... After thinking about it, the 10.whatever movie was pretty bad too...
Don't get the Van Helsing thing tho.... Muyaha, I was wondering about that!
thx
oh yeah, i have Dawn of the Dead... curious on this one. Is Shawn of the Dead any good?
Dawn of the Dead was campy, but good. A hell of a lot better than Romero's original. Sky Captain was probably my third favorite movie (Behind LOTR:ROTK, assuming that counts as 'this year', and Spiderman 2).
Van Helsing seemed to me like a 7 year old hopped up on about a gallon of mountain dew trying to explain some cartoon or something "...AND THERE WAS WEREWOLVES, AND THEY TORE THEIR SKIN OFF! AND THIS GUY SWUNGAND CAUGHT THIS GIRL, AND THIS GIRL SWUNG AND COUGHT SOMETHING ELSE, AND THERE WAS THIS BIG GUY WITH LIGHTENING IN HIM, ANND HE SWUNG TOO! AND THIS BAT-GUY THAT TALKED FUNNY, HE HAD THREE BAT-GIRLS WITH HIM BUT THEY KEPT DYING AND ALL THESE LITTLE BAT THINGS ANDITWASSOOOOOOCOOL..."
Stephen Summers really needed to lay off the Methamphetemines when he made that movie. All action, no plot.
