Default My Dancer bag basics, For the First Night

What I have in My dancer Bag for my first night.....

Kinda broke here so bare with me,

Zip lock bag full of make up

    fake eye lashes.

    black shirt button up

thigh highs. ( are thigh highs recomended? a Little self concious of thighs, so covering them up will make me feel better) til im better toned from dancing ,that is.

    black lace tanga panties.

    Plaid school skirt.

second outfit is a basic black spaggettie strap dress.

basic black full butt coverage bikinie with a push up top.

4 inch black tiger print shoes.... ( Not dancer shoes but kinda close)

trench coat to ware over skirt outfit.... It is very cold here.

small black garter ..... ( will I need this to keep my mony tucked in?)

    hair spray.

    pad lock for locker.

    streightening iron. (for my hair)

2 pairs of thong panties. plain.

full tank of gas in car...( driving an hour and a half.)

    Drivers licence and ss card.

question though........ are these things ok, and how much money should i take with me, in case i dont make anything, and have to pay house fees?

I wouldn't pay house fees even if you don't make any money. I seriously doubt they'll make you pay a house fee on your very first night. Most clubs seem to waive that fee for the first couple nights till you get the hang of things.

Put a thick, sturdy rubber band in with your things (I always liked the blue or purple ones that were wrapped around the broccoli in the produce department) You can fold your money in half over your garter and secure it with the rubber band.

Plain thong panties are fine for the first night or two. But get some stripper thongs asap. my .02

These are some interesting things that you get to take with you.
I say BABY WIPES!!!!! They are great to get smelly-guy smell offa you and to "refreshen" you when you are done with the stage or dance.

Regarding House Fees. I would suggest bringing at least $40-$50 in cash with you when you are working at a new club for the first time. The last club I worked for (didn't stay there long) required that I pay a house fees give tips just like any other dancer my very first night. You should make enough money to cover everything before you shift is over but the extra cash you brought is kinda like a security blanket in case you have a really bad night. You always want to make sure you'll have enough cash to fill you car up with gas or pay the cab fare to get home .

Make sure you pack some aspirin...when I worked at the club smoking was allowed here in Cali and that used to give me a BIG headache. Make sure you have something for those headaches.

A little helpful hint - it really doesn't have anything to do with packing the bag, but I think it's a good tip .... make sure you have PLENTY OF GAS in your car BEFORE YOU GO TO WORK. You never want to put yourself at a gas station at 2 o'clock in the morning.
