Default Fake lashes leaping off my eyes-Help!

Okay, so I've been practicing with the fake lashes, and decided to give them a run at work tonight. Well...I was doing a table dance and I lost a lash! I saw it fall. Then the other just came off in my hand when I checked it. Am I putting them on wrong? I'm not sure of the brand, they were from CVS. Was it just because I was a little sweaty? I love the way they look, but can I help them stay on somehow?

Use the liquid latex adhesive for your lashes. It is made especially for false lashes.Just a thin line of the stuff at the base of the lash with go a long way. Then go over with liquid liner to conceal the adhesive.Hope this works.

I did read a number of the thread about fake lashes, and can get them on just fine. I'm thinking maybe I used too much glue? Anyway, thanks!

Let the glue get a bit tacky before you put them on your eyes. A good 20 seconds or so ought to do it. Start from the outside and work your way in, pressing down firmly as you go along. Then use the liquid liner to conceal the fact that they're fake.
Also, applying a coat of mascara (clear if they're really intense lashes) ought to help them stick to your real lashes a bit so even if they come loose, they won't fall off.
Make sure the lash you're using is practical for your eye shape and size. I like the Andrea lashes, Black #53. You can get them at Walgreens for about $3. They don't look obviously fake because they're not too long or too thick, and they cover about 2/3 of my lashline. Love 'em.
Andrea makes really good glue to go along with their lashes. I don't use anyone else's glue, even when I splurge and buy my favorite MAC lashes.

I've found that when you put the lashes on when the glue is wet and not tacky, the come off much easier. You have to wait a little while before putting them on (like SlashingBeauty said). If you're still having problems, it may be that you are applying the lashes over an eyeliner. I have also had a problem with putting lashes over a pencil liner (with a color that looks shiny) and much better luck with using a powder liner (MAC). You may want to try putting the lash directly on your skin and then drawing the liner around/over the lash line...

Just experiment a bit. You'll get it in no time!

hmm what kind of glue are you using? Everyone else is right when they say wait a little while for the glue to dry before putting them on.

I went and got the walgreen's lashes, and they were GREAT. Only came off a bit, and that may be the eyeliner thing. Getting the liquid liner on over the latexy glue was a bit trickier, but it looked fabulous in the end! Thanks everyone!

No matter how much glue I apply, I always find my fake lashes slowing peeling off from the inner corner of my eyelids. So fricken annoying!

I found a fantastic eyelash glue. Do you have a Sally's Beauty Supply by you? They have a clear adhesive in this little itty bitty jar (.125 oz) that works WONDERFUL. It comes in a pink box, is called Individual Eyelash Adhesive, and is made by Ardell. Make sure to get the clear one. It's a whopping 1.99$ and I still haven't found anything better yet. Be carefule taking the lashes off though because they really stick to you.

Maybe Im just weird but I use those curved tweasers to put lashes on. I hold the lash with the tweasers.. apply glue... wait for it to become tacky and put them on. Its a lot easier to get them right on your lashline using tweasers rather than your fingers. I also use the MAC liner. The stuff in a eyeshadow thingy that you put on with a brush... it took me a few weeks of practice practice practice before getting it right but now I can put them on no prob real fast.
