The texas chainsaw massacre scared me....Silly but it did.

Farenheit 9/11...No Kidding!
The Exorcist... I'll never watch it again.
BabyIsis, I hear ya! All of my friends were like "oh THAT, that was just silly and stuff" but when I watched it [at 17] scared the crap out of me! I couldn't sleep in a dark room for three days!
My bf still hasn't seen the Ring, I thought that was pretty good and creepiful.
"I still have my name
I still have my face
I have not run away from home
Doesn't seem so long
If I now embrace
Every single thing I've never known"

The ring bugged me out but that was due to the eye in it. When I was younger this is so silly The rainbow and the serpent scared me.
I may have many faults, but being wrong ain't one of them.

The Exorcist.I remember watching it when I was little and getting nightmares about it later.

I hate when I'll be changing the channel and the scary part will be on,It really scares me!!!!!![]()
Poltergeist. I saw it when I was 7. I still get the creeps from that clown doll.
Fuschia
Funny you say that. I was terrified of it, too, and my bf makes of me. He thought it wasnt that scary!Originally Posted by RoseDelight
And I also AM still afraid of The Exorcist. Coming from Catholic School, you believe all that stuff. lol

The scariest movie ever is a DISNEY movie.
WATCHER IN THE WOODS.
FREAKY ASS MOVIE....its like 20 years old. I saw it when I was 22 and that shit scared me.
What the hell is wrong with Disney making a movie like that.
The other scariest movie...i'd have to go with The House on Haunted Hill...horrible movie, but scary as hell(until the end which sucked major balls).
Freddy used to scare the shit out of me when I was like 10 or 11.
House of a tousand corpses,Disturbing movie,Rob Zombie is a sick boy.
Carria used to scare me,WOW!Horror movies have changed!
Jeepers Creepers was pretty scary....I hate any movies that have to do with the devil that have people possessed or suspense thrillers.Gore don't scare me when it's in the movies because i know it's special effects but suspense and mental horror scares me.
I own House of a thousand corspes.....I haven't watched it all the way through. But if Rob Zombie makes a movie, you know it's going to be crazy.
I thought Jeepers Creepers 2 was scary but that was because he kept eating heads.

i didnt think House of 1000 Corpses was scary. i liked it, but it was too....B_movie tongue in cheek for me to think it was actually scary.
Poltergeist scraed the holy crap outta me when i saw it when i was 11 or so. and i watched it recently and thought it was cheesy. but back then, when i actually had a big creepy tree outside my window, and a swimming pool....yipes.
i agree that gory is usually not scary. i prefer arabesque horror to grotesque any day. i like mindfuck type of scary flicks...like, i dunno...Videodrome. Jacob's Ladder. stuff like that.
waffles are just pancakes with little squares on them.
I would have to go with Exorcist as well, just freaked me out when I was a little kid. Also gave me a thing about priests... but that is a whole other thread in itself.![]()
Fuscia - my best friend's husband will get up and walk out of the room if we are clicking through the channels and Poltergeist is on. He doesn't care for horror movies at all and that one just scares the bejeezus out of him.
MrChristopher - I'm with you, I love to watch gory horror flicks, but suspense type ones get to me. I went to see Jacob's Ladder in the theatre, and that is the only movie I have ever seen people get up and leave the theatre during.
I can't really think of anything that scared me since about high school... altho I will admit to being seriously freaked out by the movie Seven. It just gives me the shivers when I think about it.
Vyv: I must be hallucinating. What's a good thing for a hangover?
Mike: Drinking heavily the night before.

I didn't think House of thous corpses was as much being scary as it was being weird and boring,I fell asleep!
Jeepers creepers was scary in the beginning, when they see his truck and you don't really know yet who and what's going on,I was really scared when i first seen the truck.
I got lost in the bush when I was little. That said 'Blair Witch' scared the crap out of me! I am sad to say this but I had to sleep with the lights on for about a week and I was about 19ish when I saw it!!
All the others (Exorcist, House of 1000 Corpses etc) do noting for me.
lol, yeah, that one got me too. Unfortunately, I can rarely ever get scared during movies anymoreOriginally Posted by Jackiex
... kinda funny, considering now I want too!
When I was in college, I was determined to freak myself out (through sky diving, jumping off cliffs, etc. etc.), so natually I decided to rent Blair witch by myself, turned off all the lights, and watched the movie..
and yes, I was highly successful in freaking myself out that night![]()
Anything with Madonna or Britney Spears in them. It scares me too death that they think they can actLOl

the movies that scared me was any freddy crewger movie i had a picture of a teddybear on a swing and at nite i swore it was freddys face it scare the hell out of me when i was little and i still have that picture too. Any jason and mike mayers movie. sorry for the misspelling.
It takes a lot to scare me with a movie. Freddy was awesome and cracked me up, so I could never be afraid of him. Jason is what I refer to as "The Asthmatic Killer", because all he does is breathe heavy. Michael Myers, on the other hand, scares the living hell out of me. I don't know if it's just because he's silent with the creepy mask with the cutout eyes, but it's definitely something. So, any of the "Halloween" movies, I can't watch.
The only other one I can think of, is "The Ring". It didn't get me until the end when she crawled out of the TV, and was lurking towards that guy. I still catch myself checking behind me at the TV when it's shut off. I'm really looking forward to "Ring 2", even though I know I'll be scared shitless again. LOL
Man I dunno, but The Others and The Grudge scared the sh*** outta me! Chainsaw Massacre got me too. The Exorcist was pretty scary back in the day.....
I still havnt seen that one, any good?Originally Posted by KyraBanks
