    Angry Make-up Crisis

Okay, so I have read just about every thread on Make-up and still no help for me. I am half Korean, brown hair, eyes, and very light complected right now (no sun for a long time). Every time I try to find a light foundation it's all pinky and looks horrible on me. Has anyone else had this problem? In addition to the color problem, I have to find something that will not break me out and cover some scarring since I am acne prone (as of recently anyway--i think its my water). And alot of the clubs around here seem to have alot of lighting so, color matching is essential. And if that isn't enough of a problem, the winter weather is drying out my skin. GRRRRRR! Please help me!

Go to the MAC counter. I am huge proponent of MAC, and recently I used my Sheer Tint Moisturizer on a girl who had rosacea, and it made a huge difference--so it might help cover up your scarring. Their foundations are great, and their makeup artists will help you with any other questions you might have.

Thank for your help so far. I have tried L'Oreal True Match Foundation but it still looks horrible on me, can never get the color to match my skin tone. And the closest MAC counter is in Pittsburgh (about an hour and a half drive). As far as sheer cover, I'm not sure I want to spend that much every month. I may just have to deal with what I have until I can take the trip, or find something else that will work. I sound hopeless. LOL. I really do thank you guys for responding. But, I always have this problem with foundations.

I don't know if you've seen it before or not, but I just ordered some of the Bare Minerals makeup off ebay. They have a website at http://www.bareminerals.com/naturalmineralmakeup.html

I bought a sample to try it out, supposedly its good for your skin and gives good coverage without looking pancake like. I haven't gotten it in yet, but when I do I'll let you know. I have the same problems, my dad is Phillipino so I have a yellow undertone to my skin. Most foundations have a pink undertone so it can be a pain in the you know what to match my skin.
