Default Newbie Here...need Body Care Advise

Hey people. I haven't started dancing yet b/c of some paper work that needs to go through. I've never danced in my life and I have no clue what to do or to expect. It's going to be in those booth thingys where you're behind a glass dancing for one customer. I have some really stupid and embarassing questions to ask...

    <Taking a deep breath>
Q1:How do porn stars get the "down stairs area" to be so smooth? In Jenna Jameson's book she mentions neosporin. But exactly how can I shave and not get razor bumps or ingrowns?

Q2:How do you keep clean your "back door area"?

Q3:How do you get rid of pimples from your "back door area"?

Q4:What about keeping your back smooth? I tend to break out from every single hair product on the market. I have a tattoo on my shoulder blade and can't show it off b/c I am insecure of my upper back. I have long hair and use products...trust me...I need to use hair products!

Thank you ladies. Please respond ASAP!

    Hi...

Well, I don't dance, but I can tell you how I keep smooth....Venus Divine razor, Skintimate shave gel for sensitive skin, and a product called Bikini Zone. For me, it really helps to prevent bumps, redness, and ingrown hairs...NEVER shave dry...the razoer should glide across your skin. If there's any dragging, tugging, or scraping, you'll end up with razor burn...

As for the "back door" area...thankfully, I don't have any blemish issues there If I were you, I'd check the acne products in the pharmacy (or Wal-Mart) for a wash with salicylic (sp?) acid...try it for a bit to see how it works out

Best of luck to you....don't worry about your tattoo...hold your head high, and be proud of you...every inch of you

Hi Angel Kitty, here's my few "stripper" tricks of the trade:
My shaving ritual is everyday for legs w/ shave gel and the venus razor (men's mach 3 will do in a pinch). For the pubic area I use my face wash and a fresh razor every other time (yeah, it's expensive, but totally worth it) every other day or few days. Go slowly and in the opposite direction of growth. Unscented deordant on the outer area only will prevent razor bumbs. To get rid of existing bumps pop them - very painful - then remove any hair with sharp ended tweezers. Wipe w/ bactine on a cotton ball to clean and sooth. For zit issues on your but, treat it as though it is your face. Wash w/ an acne preventive face wash after you've rinsed out your hair (conditioner can cause breakout). I recommend chanel's pricision line, but whatever works best for you. Good luck
...and the day came, when the risk it took to remain closed in a bud became worse than the risk it took to blossom.

Hello Angel, this is an old shaving trick: shave in a hot shower or bath, and use baby oil on the bikini area. And use double or triple blade razors (with wire over the blades so they won't snag your delicate skin!)
Bring baby wipes to work to wipe the backdoor area and also wipe the skin on parts where you touch carpet, windows or flooring (peepshows/ strip bars are filthy dirty places) That will cut down on break-outs.
For the back: wear your hair up more often, and buy a back scrubber & some anti-acne bodywash (Clearasil, etc.) Scrub your upper back during every shower and put benzoyl peroxide on afterwards. Wear looser shirts, if possible.
Good luck sweety, and come back often!

Hey angel Welcome I like your name please use a drk print that red doesnt show up that well on pink. I treat areas of my skin lThat break out just like i treat my face cleanse, tone, moisturize, treat, ect...Read around and you will learn alot. Also i wipe alcohol wipes on anything that touches the pole or stage. And i also wipe down the pole with a towel with sanatizer on it before i touch it.

Man shavors do rock!!! Ever since I started using one it was sooo much smoother after every day shaving!
Anyways, have you tried anything natural on your area? Since you said you have sensitive skin maybe trying things w/o alot of junk in them would help.

Oh yea, something I do when I wanna feel 13 again; I exfoliate my hair before I shave. Its been working for me cut down on ingrowns. Damn those things are gross.

I use the men's mach 3 razor. But my schedule is going to be Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. I'm just scared that I'm going to shave too much and get those bumps. Right now I shave every 2-3 days so that my skin isn't irritated.

Did y'all have a nice Xmas?
