    Just a quick G'Day!

    Hey everyone!

I'm LunaGirl and I'm a 19 year old girl from Sydney, Australia. Just thought I'd introduce myself before posting away.

Well I've decided that I would like to enter the world of stripping, mainly because I have a huge debt I have to pay off and quickly and I'm a university student slogging it out at a crappy fast food restaurant. I have no issues about nudity or the stripping industry but I know people who do (my parents for one) so this is something I'm going to have to keep secret - which will be hard considering I'll be gone all night 2-3 times a week and I usually don't go out that much, argh...I'll think of an excuse later. Bartending job in the city maybe?

Anyway I won't be starting until I tone up a bit more and lose a little bit more weight. I have lost 5kg so far and have 5kg more to go. I was thinking of using the stage name, "Tatiana". What do you think? It's generic but has that European thing. I need a lot more information though as I am still quite naive about the business, hence why I am here.

Anyway I have been looking around for a bit and everyone sounds really lovely and I am looking forward to conversing with all of you.

    Hey LunaGirl, welcome!

I think you have the perfect mindset to make it a healthy income source. One thing that I would suggest thinking about is where you decide to work. Since your at university, (i dont know if you have 1 or 3 years left but anyway), you may want to consider how having guys from campus know you dance might affect you.

If it were me and I had only a year to go. I would do it and ignore any backlash, should it occur, but I would find a place that is less likely a place for peers to go. Usually milage will help put distance between you and your "day" life.

    cheers
    Merry Xmas!

    Thanks Trashazon.

Yep I have chosen a place which is quite far, about an hour away from where I live. It is also more upscale which I doubt any of the guys from my uni would visit. Thanks for the advice though.

I have 3 more years to go sadly.

I just realised this should be in the "Coming Out" section. I didn't see that part. Oopsies.

Hopefully it will be moved to the appropriate section. Regardless... here's a tip... search under the word "Australia".

Reason: I post alot in regards to stripping in Australia with that as my key word.

Another way is to just to check out my profile and therefore see all the posts I've contributed towards....

Also... just start dancing... the dancing is a great way in and of itself to loose weight and tone up. Whilst not to be totally relied upon for exercise... it will aid you in toning up and loosing weight... so just do it.

As for keeping it a secret... yeah... just tell them it's a bar-tending/waitress gig in the city at one of the clubs. You heard that the tips are great.

One last thing... you might want to do a search in the Dollar Den for my "Australia" post in re: taxation issues as a dancer.
