Default Collecting Tips after a Stage Dance

After a stage dance, when you walk around to collect your tips, what is the best way to collect a tip from a customer who is seated with another dancer? I don't want to be rude by interrupting the conversation, nor do I want the other dancer to think I am trying to steal her thunder-and therefore her customer-away, thus creating drama where there needn't be. But I do want to collect the tip I danced for and I am wondering what the ettiquette is on this.
By the way, my audition was the other night and it was awesome. My first day on the job is tomorrow. Woo hoo!
    Thanks so much.

Unless yhe customer is looking at me I tend to leave them alone. I think if they want to tip me they will on their own.

it depends on the SC policy too. At my club if you are seated at the tip rail alone or with another dancer you have to tip no matter what.

I may have many faults, but being wrong ain't one of them.

I would just look at the protocol for your club. For me, I just go around and introduce myself no matter what. Today I saw a guy in a convo with a dancer and I figured I should leave them alone. But then he came up to me, tipped me and said "you didn't come to introduce yourself". Go figure! Another guy tipped me when I introduced myself, he said he just hadn't felt like getting up. So I personally figure it's always worth a try. I don't mind if another dancer introduces herself to a dude I'm talking to at all.

Ok, that is what I figured. Yesderday was my first day and I just sort of watched what everyone else did. I guess at our SC we can approach a table even if a dancer is there, collect our tip, then quickly move along. I myself don't mind if another dancer comes along to collect a tip either.
I am just starting but am learning a lot quickly. Please bear with me!!
    Thank you for the advice.
