Default Your Good Deed for the Day

Let's see if we can keep this thread alive for a while.

Oh wow... I can't even come CLOSE to that!!! My hunnie rented a video and forgot to return it, so I returned it for him.

Not even CLOSE to giving blood. However, this morning, hunnie and I talked about giving a contribution to one of the charities supporting relief from the Tsunami disaster. We'll probably send off a check tonite.

    Hmm....Good deed for the day.

I didn't fire the guy I work with. He comes in late, never shows up for meetings, and anything you ask him to do....He gives you lip about. We've been wanting to fire him for weeks now. Today I finally decided,"Ya know...I am going to get rid of him today"....

His wife has recently gone to the hospital due to an illness.

My bosses still want him gone by today but I've talked them into keeping him around for another month or so in hopes that he'll be able to get the medical insurance that comes from the job. If he gets fired today, or anytime this week....He won't be able to pick up the insurance.

He's an imbecile and I want him gone but sigh.....Oh well.

This morning, I donated $100 to Red Cross's International Response Fund for helping the victims effected by the recent earth quake... not much considering the human loss in that area, but every little helps.

If anyone else wants to contribute, you can go here:

    and select "International Response Fund"

My good deed for the day was not telling the dude gawking at me at the post office to,"F*ck off."

I gave my daughter a big hug and kiss and told her that I love her. Well, I do that about 50,000 times every day...sooo...I guess it doesn't count.

My good deed was to put together ALL of the toys my children recieved for Christmas. That took me a good 4 hours.

How many children go without hugs every single day? Yes...it counts....a lot.
