Default how to cover early surgery scars

    hello ladies.

Im working tomorrow (sat) and it has been 1 1/2 months approx. since my BA surgery. I still have a small scar left that hasn't fully healed. (no redness or anything) What do i do to cover it at the club? Im not sure if i should use makeup as i don't want to infect the area. However, the area is 100 percent closed, so im doubtful that that may happen.

    thanks in advance!

If the area is 100 percent closed, I would reccomend using Dermablend. Dermablend is makeup that is especially meant for the body, and it is great at covering up scars. It is around 150.00 but it really works. It comes in all skin tones. If you are looking for something more inexpensive, I would suggest Sally Hansen's leg makeup. Even though it is meant especially for your legs, you can use it anywhere on your body. This also covers up great. You can find Dermablend at any major department store, and you can find Sally Hansen's at just about any drugstore.

i bought dermablend not too long ago for my cheek brusing after my nose work, and never had to use it because my arnica montana/vit k cleared it up so fast.

My dermablend was much cheaper then 150 though?!!

Maybe ill try that, i hope its not too dark for my chest area..

I have the Sally Hansen leg stuff. The only problem that I had with it was that it rubbed off easily. I only used it on my legs though. I dont know if this is entirely safe but you could use that and hair spray over it.

Hair spray is also great to keep eye make up on. Ive have also tried she-laq from Benefit to keep make up on that way maybe you can buy something inexspensive and keep it on with that.

Thanks I have one by Christian Dior but it still doesnt seem to make it stick quite long enough. Maybe I will try a different brand.

sorry the dermablend didn't work, did you try the Sally Hansen airbrush makeup yet? I got my breast done back in may, and the scars are still pretty visible. But you can only see them if I am bending backwards, not when I am standing straight up (I went underneath my breasts)---Also maybe the guy that said " you stupid girl you had plastic surgery" just has a good eye for breast implants, and could tell that they weren't natural. Just because he could tell you had plastic surgery doesn't necessarily mean he saw the scars. You could also try Mederma scar cream to help the scars fade more quickly, this might help a little.
