I've yet to read the books, but those movies are awesome!
YES!!! My friends and I (who are all between 25 and 30, by the way) can get into long and heated debates about house elves (I maintain that the plight of the house elves is a microcosm of the HP universe, representative of every conflict, large and small in the books, and the hypocrisy of the community that makes such conflicts inevitable - I mean really - are we MEANT to think that the house elves just evolved that way? What a ridiculous way to evolve. Others insist they are just a subplot). Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Yay!!! I was in Guam when the fifth book came out and I actually had a 3 hour phone conversation about Harry Potter as a sociopath.
I have taught that the sky in all its zones is mortal and its substance was formed by a process of birth
lol. I personally think Harry Potter is hot..he's a couple years too young though. They are coming out with the FOURTH movie in November this year, and its sposed to be 2 1/2 hours long!YAY!
I cant wait for it. There are updates and pictures of the filming on Blade, you should read the books!

Lol between work and my family I'm lucky if I have time to read the directions on a can of soup....I do PLAN on reading them someday, like when they're antiques
Heh! Make sure you get hardbacks then![]()

We got roped into the books awhile ago, and normally keep track of the release dates for the books/movies coming out. Definitely a lot of fun!
My gf is on the third one right now... and she just started reading the books last Wednesday
I'll stick to the movies for now. although when I'm finished with grad school, I'll be all over them![]()

*Raises hand high
I am a huge fan of both the books and the movies! Though I was a little disappointed with the third movie, I can't WAIT for the fourth!

Oh I know, I was disappointed with the third movie too, it wasnt the same director as the first two..but now they have yet another different director directing the 4th movie! This one seems to be promising though, because I have seen a few clips from the movie, and it sounds like it will be MUCH better.

I love the books and am ready for the next one to come out.
I think they're fun. I read them out of curiousity and enjoyed them for what they are.
I like the movies, but I'm a little worried that the kids who play them will age too quickly to finish making all of the series.
Haha, it's going to be like beverly hills 90210, eventually. Ron already looks too old to play a 13 year old. He'll be the luke perry of the bunch.Originally Posted by CharlotteInTN
I love Harry Potter. I've read all the books and seen the movies countless times. I think I own the Prisoner of Azkaban.
Good, good. Then the boy playing Ron will be of age soon.I am such a perv, but I think he's a lot cuter than the one playing Harry. I need help!

Because there ain't no tits on the radio

I think they are in production every year with a small break... for these Harry Potter movies just so the actors don't age to fast. The 4th movie is suppose to be out fall of 2005.
I may have many faults, but being wrong ain't one of them.

Havn't read the books. Seen all the movies..... I actually preferred and like the third movie the best so far.
I might give the books a go since so many adults around my age and older have or are reading them....
