Default Has anyone tried Oxy-Powder colon cleanse?

I am thinking of trying it. I want to see if anyone has tried it or knows of a better colon cleanser.
It sounds good because it says it removes old, impacted fecal matter as it detoxifies and cleans the entire colon, unlike other colon cleansers that just clean out the new stuff. It costs 40 dollars.

It's GREAT stuff!! I use 'bioxy cleanse' which is the Canadian version and a bit cheaper.

Caution: This product causes watery and gaseous stools which could cause you to feel the urge to pass gas. If you are not able to control your bowels, please be careful when using this product. We recommend that during the 7-day cleanse you have close availability to a bathroom.
Errr....I don't think this is a good idea for working strippers since we are constantly VERY close to other people, bending over, spreading legs. It just sounds like an accident waiting to happen, pun intended.

I'll bet its a better idea to just get the enema and have it come out all at once. Eating a shitload of green leafy vegetables and bran would probably also do the trick.

I use the Dr. Natura cleanser. It's a 30 day cleanse and doesn't cause what the Oxy-Cleanse causes. Check it out: http://www.drnatura.com

I use bioxy cleanse at night on an empty stomach, it makes me go in the morning and thats about it. It's just a matter of using the right dose and using it at the right times.

Enemas only clean out the lower colon and aren't really as great as they are made out to be.

Let's put it this way...instead of dropping rabbit pellets every couple of days, I've actually passed a few "logs" at least twice a day. I feel better, more energetic, and my body just "feels clean". Haven't seen any parasites, yet...but, well, I'm not hoping to.

It's kinda pricey, but it's sooooo worth it. Besides...if you go to a Hydrotherapy Colonic session, it'll run at LEAST as much (if not more) for one session...

There are some things that I won't spend lots of money on...when it comes to my health...I won't think twice about spending that kind of money. That's just me.

Scorpio is just about finished with his program...and he "looks" better...has some glow again. My mom just started her program and my aunt is starting her second cleansing next week. All in all, it's a really good product.

Dieters Tea is the best--it is very effective yet gentle, you are completely cleansed, and it is an all natural tea which won't cause scary side effects

Now they sell the stuff over the counter that doctors use to clean you out before a Colon procedure (can't friggin remember the name of the procedure, brain fart) You drink it and take it with a gas remedy over the counter as well. I know a few who have been up ALL night after drinking this stuff. But they cleaned out.

What is the reason for all the colon cleaning? IS it because of constipation?
Please don't lick me, it tickles..

I have heard of oxy powder and considering it. I suffer from chronic constipation and I could really do with a colon cleanse.

I am thinking of doing this. However, do any of you know if there IS a parasite....would it pass ALIVE? If so, shoot me now.

I am serious. The phobia is ridiculous and if that happened, I think I would just die.

    Anyone know?

Venus, so its going good? I may do this...

Hi Lexi, most of the people I have talked to have not seen a parasite at all. I have heard that its rare in the United States.

For those of ya'll that have done these cleanses, did you lose weight? If so, how much?

I've been taking triphala internal cleansers just so I can go on a daily basis but I'd like to really clean out my system.

Venus, is it best to do a 30 day cleanse or the 90?

Lexi-I feel the same way-seriously phobic. I'm just waiting for VenusGoddess to finish her cycle and let us know that nothing came out! I've never had sushi, and I don't eat meat, so I am probably safe, but I have had numerous pets-cats, ferrets, etc- so I am nervous.

They say that when you start the cleanse, parasites will leave your body. On the website, either drnatura.com or oxypowder.com, people leave testimonials saying that they saw worms or whatever in the toilet. YUCK!!

It's not habit forming...and it's all natural. It's not a laxative, it's kind of a stimulant for sluggish bowels...but you won't get "addicted" to it.

After you finish the cleansing...you should be fine...passing waste easily. Just keep taking the fiber until it's gone (and keep taking fiber after that) and drinking plenty of water, and you shouldn't have any more problems.

I have seen quite a few "studies" that say this is NOT the case. Dieters tea is made for a different reason and can create dependancy. Dependancy on the "stimulants" in it and it uses more of a laxative, so the bowels become even more sluggish. I would strongly suggest staying away from this.

LOL...this is funny. The majority of the population has some kind of parasite. Just because you don't see them, doesn't mean that they are not there. However, I have not seen anything...Scorpio hasn't seen anything...we're Japanese cuisine lovers, too.

The cleanse is NOT just for people who are constipated. It is for people who feel that their energy is waning...for people who feel "toxic"...have chronic headaches...just about every malady can be from an over-toxic bowel. What happens is that in the colon is the last of the "nutrient extractors" in your body. What is SUPPOSED to happen is that your colon removes everything your body needs in the broken down foods, etc and absorbs them and redistributes those things throughout the body via the blood system. HOWEVER, with the kind of diet (eating habits) that todays people have, the colon begins to become sluggish and backed up. If you are not efficiently excreting the waste products (the poo) and it sits in your colon (impacted stool) then you begin to become "toxic"...the newer stool gets backed up more and you have a problem. The biggest problem with our diets today is a lack of fiber. Fiber pushes this stuff out. It expands and "grabs" the waste products...keeps it together and helps the colon push it out.

Now...how long you choose to do the cleanse depends upon how you feel at the end of each cycle. I'm doing the 30 day cleanse. When I am done with that...if I feel like I should do more, I will do another round. The end result is passing the impacted stool. I think that if I don't pass that impacted stool by the end of my cleanse, I will start a new cleanse.

As for the parasites...also, it would be better to see them leaving your body than to play "ignorance" and let them stay just to keep your "mind" clean. If I pass a parasite...at least it's no longer in my body.

Edited to add this: Not everybody loses weight on the cleanse. HOWEVER, if your body can more easily and effectively pass the waste products and not re-absorb this stuff into your body, you will more effectively lose weight in the sense that you are not recirculating the waste products you are trying to get rid of.

Ok, maybe I missed this when I read the website link you provided Venus but how do you know when the impacted stool has been released?
