I love comedy too. I like George Carlin, and Larry the Cable Guy is very funny too. There is the Blue Collar Comedy Tour with Jeff Foxworthy, Larry the Cable Guy, and two other guys whose names I forget. I saw that once and it was pretty funny. Larry the Cable Guy also has his own DVD out. I rented it at the video store and it was worth watching, very funny.

George Carlin is funny as hell. My b-f and I went to see him live once and he was excellent. Too bad he's in rehab now though

    Thanks Chani!

I'm just finishing "The Battle of Corrin".

Now I need to re-read the original 5 books, before the 6th and 7th of that series get written (of course by the not dead Herbert).

I still need to read the Battle of Corrin. I read the Machine Crusade and the Butlerian Jihad.

A lot of people are angry at Kevin Anderson and Brian Herbert but I think that they are doing a decent job. Of course they can't match Frank's work but I don't think they are trying to. I went to a book signing with them at Borders and they seemed decent enough. (Yes, I'm a big dork.)

When are they supposed to come out with the new Dune books? I have been waiting a long time to read it (well ever since I finished Chapterhouse.) I really hope Anderson and young Herbert do not disapoint me.

It appears to be the next project, but no timeline.

You realize that we're going to have to apologize for hijacking Tiamaria's thread.

I'm hoping Frank isn't less than I remenmber. It's been a few years since I read the originals.

No one has mentioned Dave Chapelle!!! I love him. Saw him once at the Cow Palace or the Warfield in SF and I was rolling the whole time. The place did smell like weed though???
I also like watching George Carlin. The thing about Golf courses for the homeless was a riot!!!
