    Default body types??

I thought I might get more responses on this board, so here it goes...Hi there! I'm new to the boards and had some questions. I've never danced before, but recently contemplating it. I've been to clubs before and even had a friend a while back that danced. I have had 2 kids and do not have the same body as before, but I still think I look pretty good. What do you consider stripper material? I know there are all kinds of body styles, but I wouldn't want to go out there and be embarrased. I'm 5'4, 130 lbs, 36C, and blonde. I'm still trying to lose weight from baby #2 and my goal is 120-125. I am pear shaped, so I have always had issues with my rear and legs. How long should I wait before getting out there? Would you consider me stripper material? Thanks for you responses in advancePlease be honest

you sound fine. Just go in and audition. No matter what we think, the hiring manager is the ultimate person you need to impress.

hey! just so you know I sympathize! I'm young w/o kids, but I have been soooo inactive the past few years so my thighs and butt have lost the muscle and are definetely not toned. I am personally going to workout for a month or two before auditioning, but that is beacause I am trying to get into a club where EVERY dancer is in excellent toned shape!
But i think if you are comfortable in your skin, go for it! I mean the worst that can happen is they say no, and you know you have a little work to do!

I feel like I wouldn't dare ask people to see my flabby butt and thighs but my boyfreind says I wouldn't have a problem and he's seen it in a lot more unflattering light than they have in clubs. I still am too chicken though. Just go to different places and see what the girls look like and it might make you feel more comfortable to try.
