    Default Best customer gifts

ILast week my regular came to see me at work holding a package, when I opened it up it was a brand new top of the range Sony notebook for me. I was shocked as we only talked about it a little bit.
Have any of you got really cool gifts from your regulars and what were they.

A five day trip to Las Vegas with a Penthouse suite at the Bellagio and shopping before and during the trip to Gucci, Jimmy Choo and others. As well as dinner each and every night at the best restaurants in the city, money to gamble with and 7th row center tickets to see "O" as well as limo to and from the hotel.

Also, tickets to the 2004 Divas Live VH1 Concert.

Also, full-day cabana rental by the pool and spa treatments including massages, manicures and pedicures.

    That was niiiiiice...

LOL, mine's gonna seem loserful next to Nina's or charly's, I got ram sticks once, and a loan for the Fable game. And a couple that gave me two copies of Carrie's Story and I think the title was Plain and Simple, a book about the Amish. <- that couple creeped me the fuck out, though.

    I think that's it.

So far, a kitchen remodeling job (including granite countertops) and numerous trips to New Orleans for me and my boy. But, I still have the same customer, and my birthday's coming........

A printer, a lap top, an MP3 player, Microsoft Office, Windows XP... can you tell I don't have much in common with most of my customers?

Oh, once I got a little plastic ring from a cereal box or something that said something romantic. And I got a really sweet letter the other day.

When it comes to gifts its nice if the want to give such a gift no matter how big or small...but if they dont I dont care.
The best gift I got was a really nice set of pots and pans last time I danced. I just moved out and didnt have anything for a kitchen yet and he came in with a big Ol box the next time I saw him.....I was soooo happy!

I bought one of my atf's a top of the line laptop also one christmas,,, she was in need of a comp and I just wanted to do something nice. I dont think that makes me more or less pathetic,,, in fact I dont consider myself to be pathetic at all (standupguy). I get alot of enjoyment from giving, I live this way in everything I do so why would this be any different>? I know what I am and what I can do and I really am alot less concerned about what anyone may think about something like this than I am excited to see how happy it makes her........I think that if more people in general were thinking about what THEY are doing in the world and less about what other people were doing it would be a better place.

All the gifts that were listed were very nice and generous gifts. Are these guys trying to impress a girl by buying her the most expensive thing in the world. But if I were to buy a girl something it would not have to be the most expensive gift in the world but a gift that she may remember. Like a bracelet with the heart from Tiffanys or a box of Godiva Chocolate or some of that nature. Take for instance the pot set that a girl recieved since she just moved or the really sweet letter that another girl recieved.

Anything to help a girl out is appreciated!!! I'd never turn down a gift. Once, a customer offered to scare another customer who bit me, but Mr. Biter has fled the club. That was great.

Godiva chocolates are not gourmet; they're dressed up Russell Stovers available in pretty much every mall out there. Give a lady some Fauchon or Jacques Torres and she'll really freak out, if she knows her chocolate.

Or just get her some Russell Stover if that's what she likes. The point to a good ATF gift isn't what you want to give her, it's about what SHE wants and what makes her happy.

In my case, my guy knew I liked creature comforts so he puts me up in a swank hotel suite, takes me to top restaurants and buys me well-tailored designer clothes. He knew BeBe just wasn't gonna cut it for me. Smart guy...

Anyhow, I'm done with my snob rant...but about the pathetic issue:

I've been dancing for 5+ years and this was the first time I've ever taken such a gift from a customer because I knew it was no strings attached. Sometimes the emotional cost of taking a gift from a customer can be a lot higher than the money it would have cost to purchase it yourself.

quite a few. one guy brought me a bunch of books. he's a college professor & we have the best talks in vip on literature. he has a book club & wants me to join it. he likes me better than lots of his students & wishes i'd go to skool, but understands i have learning disabilities (permanent brain damage).

another guy wants to get me a subscription to fortune magazine. well actually i asked him for it. he's a conservative businessman, but thinks i'm a blast.

i have several submissives at work who bring me bdsm toys, vinyl outfits, latex outfits, etc.

i had one guy bring me a some social distortion & misfits records. another payed for some of my genital piercings, provided i gave him pictures of me getting them done. he had a big turn on for needles in a girl's genitals.

Open- sorry didn't mean to offend or judge. Actually what I was trying to get was some insight from the dancers. I was wondering if they have ever taken the gifts- thanked the guy and then thought he was pathetic once the guy left. That sort of thing. Like do they take th gift jsut because its a gift? Or has anyone not accepted a gift as the were afraid it might mean more? (strings attached) I don't know, to me I know a club is all about the fantasy- the guys are there for the fantasy and the womena re there to make money- its win/win for each side. But presents to me seem to cross the line. Granted, I give gifts to business associates- but nothing as personal as a bracelet or a trip or as expensive as a lap top computer.

Thoughts of my customer being pathetic for giving me gifts have never, ever crossed my mind. When he had my kitchen redone, it was at the time the absolute most thoughtful gift possible. I had just bought a house with a tiny, tiny kitchen - only 3 cabinets, no dishwaher, no counter space, no disposal..... I'm a huge cook, I've always got something brewing or goodies in the fridge. (my lasagna, Nina? ) So, before he got ahold of it, it was barely useable. Now, everytime I cook a meal, there's a tiny voice in the back of my head squeaking "thank you".
And the trips that he's sent me on have all come at a time when I've been so stressed out that the thing I needed most in the world was a few days away from my world. Plus, he sent my boyfriend with me. How thoughtful is that? Nope, not pathetic at all!

Today he gave me 2 hours in the private room and didnt want me to do anything but sit there and talk, then gave me a $600 tip. I cant get over it. Ive only been dancing for like 5 months now and never heard of such things as this. If he carrys on he can bring me a ring and I'll marry him immediately!

Love the vacation to Las Vegas package, now THATS an amazing gift. Maybe I should hint on that too. Hm!

Let's face it, some of the guys are pathetic. I've been offered gifts from guys that didn't know or had forgotten that it was a fantasy. They were usually lacking in basic social skills as well, so the only way they could get any attention at all from a woman was to pay for it. (Then again, maybe these types of customers just seek me out?) Anyway, to me, that is sad, not pathetic. Then there are the jerks that offer expensive gifts in exchange for sex, or whatever. Those types are the really pathetic ones in my opinion.

On a brighter note, one of the best gifts I ever got was Starbucks gift card. I had mentioned in passing one time to a customer that I loved Starbucks. The next time he came in he gave me a gift card with $50 on it. Thoughtful things like that, that are not too personal are really nice.
