    Default hey boys...need an opinion

I am curious about your opinions. I know different strokes for different folkes, but...do you feel that a stripper has to have a perfect body to dance? I'm a mom of 2 thinking of dancing. I am 5'4, 129-130 pounds and losing (baby#2 is 9 mo) I have Blonde hair, blue eyes, 36C, and a great personality. Not to sound conceited, but I think I am very attractive. I am just a little self-conscious about my body still. I'm not fat, but need to tone after baby#2. Do you think I could dance and make good money. I have more of an hour glass figure. Upper body never bothered me, but legs and butt could use a little work. Should I get out there now, or wait a while? Any opinions are welcome...other dancers included. Sorry, I have no photos at this time.

I'd say gaining a little more self-confidence is more important than loosing a few more pounds. My two current favorite dancers are nowhere near being "the hottest girls in the club." They both however, have disarming attitudes, shake what they've got, and try very hard to give good dances and make sure I enjoy my time and feel good.

I'm a mom too. Contrary to popular belief dancers are not all 10's in fact very few are. We are regular women who jumped at an opportunity to make some $$$. Men are looking for company, conversation and yes some T&A..the strip club industry is NOT all about looks. Start at a smaller club if you can. Go to a club and you will find all sizes and shapes. Flat chested, full figure, hard bodies, fake boobies, stretchmarks( I have these), cellulite, scars, tattoos. EVERYTHING. Just do your hair, full makeup, nice outfit, smile and you will be fine. I'm 5' 5" and 105 lbs most would say too skinny. BUT in a club there is a customer for everyone. You would be suprised that a man who gos there looking for a perfect 10 and finds a 7 with a great personality quickly changes his thinking. Stick around and read all you can here you will have a better advantage than I did just coming off the street with NO knowledge of the industry.

I think you will know when your ready..sometime you have to get into a mindset to get on stage. A lot of girls I work with are the same size as you. I don't see a problem they sure don't have a problem making $$$. If you get a TAN preferably FAKE...it is slimming IF you think you need that for more confidence.

Also, when you start dancing and walking around in those heels all night, you WILL be getting a work out, especially when you learn more things to do and more pole tricks. It will be a workout in itself. You would be suprised the body types that work in the industry. I knew a girl at one of the places I worked whose boobs were saggy literaly down to her bellybutton. She still made good money.

Dancers make money with their bodies AND their brains-personaility is a huge part of how successful you can be. I don't think you need to be a perfect ten-none of my favs have ever been, but they all have great personalities and know how to make their customers feel special. To some degree, the type of club you work at may effect your income.

No. Sexy, confident, intelligent matters, but perfect? No thank you. There is no such thing anyway.

If you believe you are sexy, then you are sexy. Confidence in your own abilities goes a long way into letting people think they should get to know you a little better. I've seen quite a few beautiful girls in the strip club, but even they will tell you that they're not perfect, but far from it.

SPG, you have all the if-you-think-you're-sexy-you-are responses, which is a good start.

You might consider posting a pic because the dancers here can give you some really good advice based on how you actually look. It's a very supportive group. When it comes to pics, the guys are pretty much a cheering section. We are good for appreciation and flattery. When it comes to practical advice, though, the dancers are the pros.

Thanks so much to all of you! It will probably take me about a month to get to goal and work up the guts to go audition. I guess it's a combination of both. Your responses definetely helped my confidence. It's nice to know that there is so much support here. Thanks again

I had a dancer last night tell me that she was a mother of two. From our previous convos, I only thought she had one. I had seen the c-secion line on her stomach, but thought maybe it was from something else. She has a gorgeous face and body, and when she told me 2 kids, my jaw dropped. I'm positive you'll be able to find a job, and even more positive that you'll make great money. Good luck!

P.s: Most of us on this site are very supportive. That's what it's about. We, as customers, appreciate the dancers themselves, their job, and their opinions. When the dancers are happy and feel good, they tend to be better at what they do, in turn making it more enjoyable to be a customer. If someone doesn't want to be supportive, they should hush, or take their complaints to stripclublist.com along with all the other "I got no sex in the champagne room" custys. IMHO

    Holiday,

In my eyes, you are lovely. Your natural beauty is what most woman dream of and most men drool over. Stay warm and when feeling a chill remember...

    Icicle icicle
    Where are you going
    I have a hiding place
    When spring marches in
Will you keep watch for me
    I hear them calling
    Gonna lay down
    Gonna lay down
