    Default First Nite last nite:

    Hi, All:

Well, I got my first nite out of the way, Whew! It was a RUSH!. Of course, I had butterflies when I first got on stage, but two-three songs really isn't that long. I started getting into the music and before I know it, It's over.

Now, time for the hustling....Hmmmm.. First guy, rejection.... Second guy, same... . Okay, I am told I'm a very attractive woman but this kind of put a damper on my first nite. After that, went to the bathroom, re-connected with myself and freshened up......Boom. Got into the groove, baby! I'm not sure if this is good but after tip outs I went home with 238 dollars. Is that pretty much average or low for a mens club in NC? I made most of my money doing LD rather than stage tips.

My feet are killing me, I didn't notice they hurt until I got into my car about 3ish....geez. Now I need a foot soak.

Oh, and one downfall, two perverts not wanting a dance and asking "HOW MUCH" for me? Huh? Hello? I'm a dancer, nothing else! I'm filipina and he was saying that he's never "HAD" a filipina before....asking what my price is. WTF?

I played it nice and told him that I can give him as much dances as he wants all nite. He didn't accept of course. He was just wanting something else I guess. Well, how would approach that situation and still make sure you get dances from someone like this?

Well, I guess overall it went pretty well. A few new girls last nite as well. I guess the best compliment I got was that I looked like I've been dancing for while.

I just thought I'd share my first nite story. Have a great weekend!

You probably did pretty well for your first night, considering you are brand new. Things will start to pick up as the months go on. As for the guys who were perverts..when I get men like that, I just get up and walk away. I ignore them. Unless of course they buy me a drink, then I drink it as quickly as possible and if they dont buy another, I am on my way. I dont have the time to waste on people like that, I need to make some $$! You should go get a pedicure also. A foot rub will feel great after a night in those heels. They will take some getting used to, but you will be fine. Good luck!

Thats awesome hun!! I wish made that much my first nite!!!

As for the guys....if they keep persisting or they make you feel uncomfortable just walk away. Thats the great part about their job. Just excuse yourself go freshen up, or offer to come back if they want a dance. Most end up being a waste of time only they are looking for that sorta thing. They can get those services somewhere else.

Go Girl! That's good for your first night. My first night I made 75 dollars. Think of the stage money as something extra. You use your skills to get a lot of dances and that's where you will make your big money.

As for guys and the crap they say to you...get used to it. But you don't have to stand for it. Remember you are the one in control..walk away if they don't back off when you tell them.

Rejection..it happens. So you pick up and move on to the next. Don't let that get you down..you have to stay upbeat. You did well by going to recollect yourself...sometimes a 15 min. break in the locker room might do you some good. Then you go out and you work it!

So when do you think you'll work again? Or did managment give you a schedule? Just remember to smile on stage and when you're walking around the club.

    Get your feet better!

Yea that's good for you're first night. Maybe guys in strip clubs everywhere last night were bad. None of them wanted dances or to tip. I got turned down by a lot of guys last night. Then there was a ton of guys sitting around the stage and NONE of them were tipping. I wanted to kick them and say "Tip me." But what good would that do?

T-Milk: I ended up going with Kiana as my stage name.

Amber88: I dont have a set schedule w/ management. I'm planning on just going a couple days a week. Still testing which days are good for me. Planning on coming again tonite and to see how Saturday crowds are.

$238 is great, especially for your first night. Sounds like you have sort of a knack for this business. Hang in there.

To be honest $238 is very bad. During weekends a dancer should earn at least $800 per night (after fees and taxes). But you will earn more later, I think.

Skandinavian that $800 heavily relies on your geographical location:
In some places 800 is like hitting the jackpot for that night and other places 800 is normal.

you did much better than I did. Last night was my first night too, also at a men's club in NC. I wasn't so good with hustling, and I made $150. But I had fun. Hopefully tonight will be more promising.

You did VERY good for your first night. This is all still very new to you and can be so overwhelming. As far as the guys being jerks, my advice is to get used to it. Eventually you will develop thick skin and not care anymore. Just hang in there. My first night was hell on my legs. I walked like gumby for 3 days. Thank god those days are over. Anyway, glad to hear u survived your first night.

I always think this...during a case of the "greedy's"...its more than you would have made at some 9-5 job. Some days are big money nights and some are not. Yes, its good to set goals for yourself...motivation makes you money. But one night your up $500+ and then next day you may make 100+. I mean think about it ..if you had some $8 or 9 dollar an hour day job and then taxes are taken out on top of that....pleeaase! Now that sucks. So don't get down on yourself if the occasion should arise.

Agian...you did really well for your first night!

Thanks all for the kind words. I needed that. About the gumby legs, I know exactly how you feel. On top of dancing I am a workout freak and lunges and squats kills!

It's nice that this board is SO supportive of newcomers. It makes it a lot easier to transition to a new thing.

Skandinavian, where are you working at that you're making $800 per night on the weekends?

$238 is not bad at all, especially for your first night.

Yes, where are you working Scandanavian? My town is not known as a money-making city for this industry, and some girls average $800 or more on a regular weeknight, but that is NOT the norm. For the girl's first night, that's pretty damn good.
