    Default Bad Moods

I have a small question and was just very curious.

Do customers sense when a girl is in a bad mood? If so, if you can describe a little moment when you noticed. And did you at a later moment in the night or on the next visit buy a dance from her?

If this has been covered before in a customer sorta way then if you like redirect me. Thanks!!

As a dancer,I can tell you that customers can no doubt, feel your moods.Moods are contagious. If you're pissed off,it can spread. But if you're happy, everyone around you is happy.

    OTB is right

It's the same as if someone with negative energy comes in a room filled with 'happy people'....You will start to feel the moods change very quickly. On my travels in Arizona, I went to Pantera. My first time as a 'customer'.....This dancer was in a piss poor mood, humped my friend's thigh, kept grumbling about something, etc. She then proceeded to yell at another dancer and they started arguing. I wish I would have gotten that on video tape.

But back to your question.....I try to avoid people with 'bad moods'....I didn't buy a dance from her. SCs are suppose to be where losers like me become happy for very cheap reasons! Sigh...That sounds really PL, doesn't it? Ah well!

I noticed a girl that was in a pissy mood when I went night before last. She was gorgeous, but she looked to be in a terrible mood. I started giving her tips because I thought that might solicit a smile or something, but it didnt. I gave up after a while. She didn't even thank me or smile at me after I fed her $10 in tips. I wanted a dance from her, but after a taste of that attitude, I wasn't going to pay for a shitty dance. You can tell when girls are up there having fun, and it makes me want to hang around with them and get dances. When they act like they have a thorn in their ass, I stay away.

It is obvious... (And of course, I am the problem solver, so I ask what's wrong? Would you like to sit and talk? No BS, not trying to get into your pants, etc... I know that I am a complete stranger, but if you want to let loose with something, please do it. I hate to see people in a bad mood.)
If she does not respond to my conversation, then I am pretty much done with her for the night.
I can see it in a girls face. The demeanor tells the story. Hope this helps.

Wow can I ever detect their bad moods. That's probably the second biggest reason I don't get a lap dance (#1 being they never come by or ask). Combine her bad mood with me being overly sensitive and thinking her mood is a reflection of me, and it makes for a crappy time, a ruined club visit, and total buyer's remorse.

Customers (and people in general) will 99% of the time detect when you are in a bad mood, even if it's not consciously. There are dozens of little signals that you give out, ranging from small postural clues to slight tension in facial muscles. All that they know is that they're not as attracted to you as they would be, or in some cases actively repelled.

And no, if you're in a bad mood I won't buy a dance from you. Next time, if you're in a good mood, that may well change.

Sometimes bitchy can be used to the dancer's advantage. I have a huge weakness for the bitchy, authoritative types. Something about that drives me wild. My ATF is a no-nonsense kinf of girl, but she also has a very soft side. It's usually pretty easy to tell if the dancer's playing a role, or genuinely in a shitty mood.

Ive known the dancers I hang out with a long time. Its a no brainer to read their moods just like they can read mine. I dont view them any different than a person I might associate with "in real life". Having said that, if I were to hit a strange club and meet a new dancer for the first time who was obviously in a bad mood, I doubt I would even talk to her much less buy her a drink or dances. I meet enough grumpy people at work and dont need the drama.

Yes indeed, I do notice it, and with respect to that particular trip, its usually a sale killer for her.

Its not as though when I see a dancer in a bad mood that I assume that she's a bitch or anything, but with a limited amount of cash and a number of other gals who seem friendlier, its simply much easier to spend my bread on them, than try to bring the sour faced gal out of whatever has her in a snit. I came in spending money in order to enhance my mood, not someone elses.

That point aside, I've been around enough clubs to know that dancers are often in a bad mood because they've had to deal with the various unpleasantries unique to their line of work, on top of all the normal headaches of life all of us have to bear with from time to time. I'm always willing to give a gal a chance to make a second impression. We've all had our days, haven't we?

In any case, I've always felt that a little kindness often begets more kindness. Hokey as it sounds, if customers, dancers, staff, and managment alike tried it more often, I think all of the above would benefit.

This is great feedback everyone thanks......Also one more little one....to dancers who dont smile on stage or not smile when they are with you will you automatically think they are in some sorta pissy mood? Just curious..

Not necessarily - as long as you're coming across OK. I mean c'mon, smiling constantly hurts your face after a while.
