Default Cool things your club did for you

Have any of you ever participated in any cool events/promotions/advertising/etc for your club?

Our club got us on a morning radio show for a contest, and then (the club) gave us one free house fee! Of course, it was at the butt-ass crack of dawn, like 6 am, but it was totally fun to be live on-air.

Another time, we had an invite-only theme party where tons of high-rollers were invited. It was hilarious! All the entertainers were decked out in costume and you couldn't even recognize the club- It felt like we were working in a totally new environment, like another country or something. Pretty cool.

    Anybody have any similar experiences?

My club waived our house fees for December, then decided that we wouldn't have house fees anymore! We had an employee Christmas party at the club that turned into total debauchery (sp). Let's just say that I can blackmail people with my pics of the nite!

There is also talk of a ski trip coming back that they used to do annually.

The club I worked at gave the girls who got the most points a seperate dressing room, robes with their names on them, a couch, free fruit and water, things like that. But the point system was kinda stupid, I dont think it was thought through well enough. Not very many girls got in there

    Retired Dancer-

    What's a point system?

Also at my club, girls are rewarded with a free house fee whenever they do promotions- though we haven't done any in a really long time-

Robes are such a great idea! Though girls here don't really need them in the club.

What do you guys think of giving the girls a sort of 'business card holder/address book'. This way the girls could keep track of their customers. We could get them with our logo, and after the entertainer has been working here for say, 4 weeks, she gets one.

We did this cute promo called "Umbrella Gilrs" every NFL game played at Raymond James .Six of us would to go to the games in a limo and stand outside the stadium in Red heels, Red bikinis with tiny yellow raincoats and a red umbrella ( the club was Scarlett's - so that's why the red, the raincoats were to keep us warmer in the winter and the umbrellas were so we could do it in the rain... we had a very smart GM We would hand out free drink cards as people left the games.

We got to see the game from our own box and free house if we worked after the game and a free dinner coupon (we had a 5 star chef) for any shift later that week ! It was an awesome promo and I did it most every game for the first couple of years I worked there and then here and there for fun.

I usually get to choose the shifts/days I want to work, and I can come to work whenever I like without having to call in. It's nice to know I can come and go as I please.

I got a bottle of wine for Christmas. Like I don't drink enough when I'm working. Also, at my club they used to have Entertainer of the Month. I got this "award" in September 2003. You got month long recognition when you were announced on stage, free valet parking for a month (I don't have a car, so one of our hosts gave me a ride home) a dozen roses and a bottle of champange. This is based on merchandise sales, attendance and dances and stuff like that. Kind of like Employee of the Month, which also receives the same gifts from the club.

How do you like this 'Entertainer of the Month'- do the girls like it or do they roll their eyes?
Does your club have a website and do they post this on there?

Usually whomever earns this honor has worked their ass off. I forgot to include that management also judges it on overall attitude. So, basically, the ladies that get this have a good rapport with the other ladies, as well as the staff, and having the "title" does not instigate back-biting or jealousy. At least that I had ever heard.

Surprisingly, the Entertainer of the Month is not recognized on the website. I thought that was strange. It is a good idea, though.

Very cool- I'm wondering if something like this would work at our club- I think the entertainers may think it's silly-

I just started a Newsletter for all the Entertainers- just sent out the first one today. I figure it's a fantastic way to communicate with the girls-

Well, the really cool thing is that it is announced during the first weekend shift of the month that both the Entertainer of the Month and Employee of the Month are working. Usually, it was done right after the cattle call/walk around the stage by the dancers and at a busy time in the night. Both "awards" are announced and it's almost pageant style. It's just a fun little way to keep both the staff and ladies motivated and to keep club morale high. It works, really it does. Also, I forgot to add: The Entertainer of the Month also gets 3 nights free house fee ($180)...And I can't think of any girls that wouldn't almost kill for free valet parking for a month.

Allure69, a friend of mine that worked out there did that and she said she had a great time. Wish my club took me to Jamaica! (Especially in the Winter, here in the midwest a little Jamaica retreat would be very appreciated!)

The club I'm at now doesnt do much for us... feh. Sometimes they'll reward girls who are on time with no tip out... or for Christmas...

When they'd take girls to the beach/boardwalk to promote, those girls who went had no tip out, but that doesnt happen too much anymore... not enough management staff who gives a damn LOL.

We used to do luaus and car shows at our club... that was always fun, and there was sometimes a tip out discount for girls who helped out.
