    - This used to be my Playground ? Madonna
    - Of Father ? Madonna
    - Little Miss Can?t be Wrong ? Spin Doctors
    - Laika ? Moxy Fruvious

Two out of four ain't bad.....
    1. Girl Scout
I'm just a girl- No Doubt
Girls just want to have fun- Cyndi Lauper
Cream- Prince (this is great if you can take a milk bath, milk and cookies)

    2. Construction worker
    Tough enough- the Fabulous Thunderbirds
I need a hero- I think it's bonnie Tyler it's from the footloose soundtrack
Somewhere there's a techno version of the Bob The Builder theme

Cause I'm a blonde is by DR. Demento and Julie Brown, great funny song. There's a group called Me First and the Gimme Gimmes. They do great upbeat, punky covers of songs. Check them out for something different.

The only one I did was the construction one with Dude Looks Like a Lady by Aerosmith and This City Never Sleeps by the Eurythmics. (It's off of the 9 1/2 weeks sountrack)

For the construction worker try "Build" by Innocence, maybe "Working at the coalmine" (Devo did a newer version late '80's), and "Empire State Human", by Human League or covers by bands like Optiganally Yours. (the chorus on that song is "tall tall tall big as a wall wall wall").

Also try "Crushed by the wheels of industry" by Heaven 17. The verses are laced with construction sounds and guys yelling "work - now".

Your DJ can usually cut sound effects into any song to make it fit your needs. For example contruction worker will have jack hammer sound effects.

For the Girl Scout theme, my ATF once went out on stage to "What's Your Name" by Lynyrd Skynyrd ("what's your name, little girl, what's your name...")

For the Construction theme, I once saw someone dance to "I Go To Work" by Kool Moe Dee.
"Women, not girls, rule my world" - Prince

"No parking on the dance floor" - Midnight Star

    HI.

I was thinking of Using that black crows song "Handyman" for a consturction theme. I think that is the name of it. It goes, "Hey little thing let me light your candle cuz (something) yur handyman is around,,,"

Also, for the cookie monster song, if your club has the MP3 music system, the song might be listed in the "juvinile" or " young kids" section. Ours has a bunch of TV themes and other stuff we would never use except wehn the DJ's are bored!

"Mother's LIttle helper is not a great school girl song, though. It is about housewives on Valium.

colleen, the black crowes song you reference is called "hard to handle". they say nothing about a handy man in it. i wouldnt want you to wear a construction outfit to that song, as it would make no sense whatsoever. pretty funny though. that's another one for the "favorite mis-heard lyrics" thread.

Girl Scout- Georgia Satellites/ Keep your hands to yourself

Construction worker- George Thorogood- Bad to the Bone

Miss Muffett- Moloko / Fun for me ( has a dark techno bluesy sound, kinda cool if you will incorporate a spider into you act!)

This is all I could think off the top of my head. Good luck!
