    The ever popular DANCING question..

So yeah i just started dancing or should i say TRYING to dance on stage. I havent danced in over 10 years, i have no idea what im doing and i have no idea how to learn? Where do i get the dance moves from? its a funny question but how do i learn to dance NOW? Id go to a dancing school but it would take months or even years to learn something decent and i need to dance in 4 days lol and every week after that! Any advice? Any dance moves? Anythig good on dvds? Any good music to dance to? Anything at all? how to make contact with the guys when ur dancing on stage? How to make the dance flow? transitions? HEEEEELP with whatever you can .

You don't have to actually dance... just walk around or prance on stage. Watch the other
dancers. There was a thread somewhere about "copying" so I guess some people are
sensitive... but just keep it simple and try to pick up basic stuff. Try doing a double with another
dancer on the stage to get the hang of it. Some clubs will let you practice on the pole
after/before hours. I assume you did some kind of audition, so whatever you did was
probably good enough. As for contact: make sure you know what the laws/rules are.
Usually you just wiggle in front of a customer and after a minute you lift your garter, etc.
so that he can slide a tip in. But it may work differently at your club. You may just
bend down while he hands some money to you. This is your potential opportunity to
initiate quick conversation to break the ice. Depending on how loud the music is and
how crowded it is you may only have a few seconds or may have to communicate with
gestures. The DJ can help you pick some music that you'd like. Usually rap is pretty
hard to dance to. (So they don't play it much.) My preference is for anything heavy
metal. But you don't really need to "dance".... just wiggle and roll around on the stage
or just walk slowly.... remember you are also taking off clothes so keep it simple and
don't trip. The best clothes are easy to get on and off, durable, non-flamable, easily
washed. Make eye-contact. SMILE. Ask interested/excited/sexy. That's all you need.
