On the bright side, the snow can't last forever jasonleexxx!
I was on the receving end of about 7 inches of snow (in Delaware). I was wondering how many clubs would actually open during the blizzard. I rode past two on the way to go sledding and saw they were closed. Just made me curious. Anyone who works in the northeast area, did your club close during the snow storm?

Hahaha I just happened to drive by two on the way to sledding.
Club i worked at was open. The two women i do security for --their clubs didnt open.

my club was closed. which sucks, but even if i had managed to make it there no one would have showed up anyway. a no-win situation all around.
waffles are just pancakes with little squares on them.
I would rather that the clubs did close due to driving conditions.
It only makes sense. It's too dangerous to leave the house really. I loves the SC's, but I wouldn't take my life in my hands to go. It's rediculous to ask the dancers to show up as well.Originally Posted by kryssy

Yea I wouldnt want a very important regular (v.i.r.) to get into an acciedent on the way to see me in the snow???
I would want everyone to stay home and be safe. I never go out in bad driving conditions unless Im gonna die or something. Which has never happened and Im happy I dont have to worry about super snow blizzards just crazy massive earthquakes.![]()

My club did end up staying open but my roommates club closed. I was lucky enough to call a few regulars that were due for a visit and make arrangements to see them tonight instead. It wasn't worth risking my life or theirs just to make a few bucks! BTW, we got about a foot or so here.
Baltimore, we were closed Saturday. I did /okay/ on Friday and bleh on Sunday.

My home club was packed Saturday night. I was totally amazed. The city shut down as it always does with any snowfall. Half the dancers called out. On top of that, downtown DC was dead after the Inauguration crowds and motorcades bailed out of the city. Only the locals remained.
We had a half-dozen new dancers who banked that night. I bet they were more surprised than anybody!
