    Default Long waist

Okay, I have a really hard time finding clothes that fit me because I have such a freakin' long waist.
Jeans are always uncomfortable and I can't even wear low rise one's because my ass practically hangs out.
I think everyone I have ever walked by on the street has seen my thong

Are there any other long waisted girls who have this problem? I am forever trying to find just one pair of jeans that fit properly and I am wondering if there are any brands out there that make pants for longer waisted people?

    Any suggestions?

I have a long waist too. I just began to wear my t-backs with everything, because they never stick out of my pants. Also this saeson, styles of jeans have gone a little higher on the waist, so you may want to go to the mall and check out some more current styles. The actress kyra knightly has a long waist also, and I read that she prefers diesle jeans and other items because they tend to fit her figure much better. We've got a diesle here, but parking near it is a bitch, so I have never actually gone.

I too have a long waist (Heck, I'm just long: arms, legs, torso)... I like Chip & Pepper Jeans and Paper Denim & Cloth. Chip & Pepper makes a 36 inch inseam as well! Price be damned.

Now, long torso girls... can anyone tell me where to get shirts that cover my tummy and are still narrow?

Normally, considering what passes for the average American woman, that would repulse me--as it often does between classes at school (are these women just optically challenged?). However something tells me I wouldn't mind at all if your ass was hanging out in front of me, Ms. Mag.

That said, my ex has the same body type and speaks well of her Seven Jeans.

    Two cents.

For long legged gals like myself, I've found that an inexpensive "quick fix" for jeans are the Gap's brand called 'Long and Lean'. My legs are 45" from hip to toe (got bored at work and had another girl "measure me") and my torso is outrageously long as well. I sympathize with ya ladies!

I have the opposite problem. With standard jeans my bra strap and my belt are only about 3" apart ! Thank heavens that 'hip-huggers' came back in style.

Try K-mart. Seriously! Thier house brand (not Wrangler, but the ohter one) makes a decent stretch denim with a higher rise. I have been living in them fo rthe last year or so.
