Default NEW NETROGENA advanced solutions FACIAL PEEL

    I LOVVVEEEEEEEEEE ITTTTT!!!

For some odd freaking reason i broke out this week. I got so frusturated with my face i made an appointment with my dermentologist.

But now i dont have to go! NOT ONLY did it clear up my skin, but it made it soft as heck!!!

Im not one to buy over the counter products, but i saw an add for it on tv and decided to give it a try!!!

    yey~

Yeah, pouring salycitic acid all over your face does tend to make it clear up quickly, and the vitamins make your skin really soft. Just don't forget to moisturize, even over the zits. I've been using the md skincare, probably same idea, and it works wonders, too. Found it at my salon for an at-home facial. Dermatologist is definitely cheaper w/ medical insurance, though.
...and the day came, when the risk it took to remain closed in a bud became worse than the risk it took to blossom.

I used the Loreal Microdermabrasion...My face felt softer....but it didn't show a visible difference in my skin. It was definetely not worth the $25....

Same here. I tried it for a month. No change. Sad, because i love Loreal products, but this one fails for me.

I agree with the others on the Loreal Microdermabrasion kit. It definately made my skin softer, but that's about it. I was definately unimpressed for the price I payed.

I found it for twenty bucks and yes, it was SO worth it..

Ive tried the microderm kits, and have been not impressed!

I have done professional chemical peels, bluelight, microdermabrasion and other lazer treatments and i still like this product!

For 20 bucks, IMO you cant beat it!

I have been using glycolic 20% - soon I will go to 30%. I have not tried this but I will. Glycolic makes my skin so soft and then I use Superserum C and my skin just absorbs it entirely then I use a buffer essential and moisturize My sking is great I put it on my hands too.

I try all the local stuff I have to know what is in and cheap and of course what works.

    thanks for the tip!

Why would somone want a facial peel? Is it mainly for people with acne problems or just random occurance of pimples?
Will it make my face all one color?

I do it on "off weeks" facial peels. .. when my skin isnt the greatest.

I helps smooth the skin by skin cell renewal and get rid of pimples!

Facial peels are also good for someone showing early signs of aging, since it is tearing off the first layer and rebuilding the second. I paid $65 for my peel, but a dermatologist cleared my zits w/ the office visit covered and $30 for the script. Now that I have no isuransance, it's like $200 My skin looks better than it has in years, though, zits aside. It's really soft and glowing. Tampafldancer, did you use it everyday like you're supposed to, or just when you needed it?

Does a facial peel ever cause redness? If so how long does it usually last?

WHEW....i am glad it works wonders for some of the ladies. I bought it last night, used it, and thought my face would burn off!

I called my derm. today and she said i simply don't need it. I use retin A from time to time along wiht other acids over the counter nightly. So this product is just too much for me with other products i use.

I will NOT be using it again, it's simply skin overkill for me. I use nightly Alpha Hydroxy acid 10% before bed, and Retin A ahh maybe twice a month now. I have very very light sensitive skin.

So i guess i can only stick with light products. This kit i bought last night was very very harsh, i was worried. The burn was bad. Today i see small red marks that will go away.

Guess i should have done just a small area first. But according to my Derm. i don't need a facial peel of any sort. (yet i feel, but will)

But this has only happened to me so far as i hear.....Gosh i have very sensitive skin.....i hate it.

oh pam, im sorry to hear

Do you think it reacted with the retin a and other acids you use?

My face got pretty red after my second use on the second day in a row i used it. But shortly after, (next day) it revealed nice smooth skin. My skin is pretty sensitive too, but probally not as sensitive as your skin........

I guess if you use other products, it might have a negative reaction. Or, if your dermentologist doesnt recommend it for your face... i guess dont bother!

It worked well for me, and im usually not one to give out recommendations because im afraid it wont work as well for others... sorry pam!

yes, redness lasts about a day. If you get a chem peel at the dermentologist it lasts a bit longer (for me)

    Thanks hun.

Yes i use TOO many products i guess. Don't mix Retin A with this stuff, it's just too much. My fault.

Now i am smearing baby lotion on my face...lol. Give it a rest, let my skin renew it's cells, and go from there.
