    Default Invitation To The Customer

I am very ashamed to say that I have become very slack in my stage performance as of late. While, I am aware the some dancers feel that stage is not important because it isnt where you make your money, I know firsthand that good money can be made on stage.
Anywho, this is my story as of late I have been dancing to the top r&b/hip songs. I come out on stage always to the left of the pole, grab it swing around it, lean up against is and let my body kinda float using my hips, push my self away, walk to the front of the stage and kinda of belly dance, walk back to the pole swing around it, dance with it, climb to the top and kinda of lean out with one legs and rock my body down the pole. ::Sighs:: Point is I feel my perfomane has become the one thing I always wanted to avoid stale.
I work in a very upscale gentlemens club, in which most of the girls I work with just model there shoes the whole time, bounce/wiggle their very nice booties, so sometimes I really stand out, but I am really looking to incorparate more into my stage performance.
I going to return to doing skits every night that I work my problem is I am afraid Im going to run out of ideas and I have no idea how to reinvent/add to the ones I already have. (ie. Soildier, Police Officer, School Girl, Dominatrix).
I want to put some spice as well as entertainment back into stage show.
Im open to any suggestions anyone has considerung there are so many talented dancers, quality dj's, and ofcourse outstanding customers on this board.
If you can help find ways to incorporate props such as hats and chairs that would be apprieciated also. I really need the help brainstorming, so please help me get the ball rolling. Thanks

Well, I have been feeling the same way... I am a pole dancer, not a stage dancer... Meaning you name it and I can probably do it on the pole, but I am not so great at the crawling around for the customers....
What I have started doing is practicing when they are eiher no customers or justa few... I pretend that an empty chair has a customer in it and think of different ways to dance for him from swinging my legs to shaking my butt.... I just try to think of the sexiest contortions my body can do..
Hope that helps a little for you.
Please don't lick me, it tickles..

Oh, and I HATE it when dancers use chairs, a girl form my job keeps doing it and it has busted up the stage... We have this wallpaper like tile on it and the chair has busted it up, now I have to be careful of my knees.. grrrrrrrrrrrrrr...
But if you have wood, I used to do Flashdance music and imitate the movie where Jennifer Beals does her dance. I put the chair against the pole, climb to the top and then slide down onto the chair and do my routine... It's fun and def. gets their attention and trust me it is NOT overplayed..
Please don't lick me, it tickles..
