    Tanning hands

Ok, maybe you girls can help me on this one. I self tan from the bottle. I use the L'oreal sublime bronze in deep and it works really really well on my body..but im so upset because when i try and tan my hands, it just never works. Ive gotten to the point where i dont put any on my hands and just put tanner on the rest of my body. But then i end up having pale white hands and a really tan body. Does anyone have any good tips on how to tan my hands from the bottle without it looking orangy and fake? Thanx a bunch

Mix the self tanner with a moisturizer . That way the color is a little lighter and it loks more natural. I always due that with my feet hands and elbows. Works like a charm

I've found that if you use some kind of heavy-duty scrub before tanning the hands and feet then moisturize just before putting on the tanner it works well too.

I rub the tanner into my hands when I start applying it, then when I'm done with the rest of my body I scrub my hands really well.

I do the moisterizer thing and then at the end I wash my hands and put a little on a cosmetics sponge and go back over the backs and sides of my hands. I use the same tanner except in Medium and that works for me. HTH!

ummm try not to wash you hads after you use this.. about an hour... to get the left over tanner off your hands use a baby wipe or a dry or damp tterry towel.. even paper towel to get it off.. otherwise it might be your washing it off..

If you are washing your hands a lot or doing the dishes every day then the self tanner won't stay dark as long as your body does. Try to keep your hands dry and not always emersed in water as much if this is a problem!

I had the exact opposite problem. I used the same product for the first time, and ended up with orange fingers. It looks like I forgot to wash my hands after applying... But i know i didnt.

Any suggestions on how to remove self tanner mistakes without taking an electric sander to your skin.
