I saw this somewhere and it illustrated an excellent point. For some odd reason, any person of color who does not behave according to a stereotyped definition, is "not really" (insert race here) or must secretly have identity issues. Why? One would hope that freedom from racist remarks and attitudes would include the right to behave as one feels most natural and not have correct (...) behaviour dictated to you.
So what do you think? Is one free to be black in this country only if they talk in ghetto slang, listen to "black" music and wear "black" clothing?
