As a young man I lived and worked in Asia.
I became familiar with Thich Nhat Hanh a Buddhist monk.
He gave me a copy of the 14 precepts.
I put them up on my office wall years ago partly because I liked looking at them and partly because he has become kind of famous.
As I was evlauating my life this past week I happened to look at them.
I do most of them OK the one that flips me out is:
"Do not look on your body as only and instrument. Preserve vital energies (sexual, breath, spirit) for the realization of the Way. Sexual expression should not happen without love and commitment."
Anyone have an interpretation of the above that would make sense being involved in the sex industry?
