    M.A.C eyeshadow

Which m.a.c eye shodow would everybody recommend for the stage. I need something very dramatic that will stay put.
I noticed they have several kinds of eyeshadow(powder, liquid, cream) and was just wondering which kind works best.

I am off to the m.a.c counter tonight to buy some and don't want the sales person to suggest one without really knowing what it will look like in the club or on stage.

    Thanks

I use Idol and Carbon powder eyeshadow...LOVE them. I use Idol (a shimmery light pink) on my inner corner and brown bone...and use carbon (a really deep dark blackish blue) on my outer corners up to the crease......gives a great smoky look....and the pink gives it a bit of girly-glam. Stays on FOREVER and no smudging, even when I sweat my ass off on stage.

the only MAC eye product I have is the eyepaints, which are pretty cool. I have Stillife which is a shimmery flesh-color. It's really neat because I put it under any eye shadow and it stays on perfectly. Plus the shimmer adds a nice effect.

I use the MAC powder eyeshadows. I have about 28 colors! Pick some that are vibrant. I use both the shimmer ones and the more matte ones, some of these are really intense color. Use them together and mix it up. The powders are awesome and stay on all night. Have fun with color and be bold and different!

    Thank you everyone

Does anyone have a particular color that they really like?
I have blue eye's so what color would look best?
Im so sick of always wearing gold's and browns but Im not sure how to pull off a more dramatic color like purple or gray without looking ridiculous.

i have picked up just about every freaking color at mac,but i just picked up something called DIANA EYES.

it mixes well with my other colors, and the whole thing was much cheaper then buying 4 individual eyeshadows.

    That sounds pretty.Thanks tampa

I think I may ask my friend who is good with make-up to help me with the application since I am pretty bad with it.
To bad you live so far away tampa or I could have you help me

Or I suppose I could always just ask the lady at the m.a.c counter for a makeover.

Eyepaints, totally. The downside with them is that you have to blend them quickly otherwise you need to start over again since they dry and stay put. Which once you do blend them is great!

If you get the eyepaints, practice a few looks at home instead of trying to wing it either right before work or getting ready in the club.

Mag...I have a color combo of orange lid, burnt orange crease, lined with teal. I have green eyes. It looks really good.

You just sometimes need to branch out and take a chance.

Also...tell the make-up artists there that you would like to try some more bold colors that will help bring out/compliment your eyes. You'll most likely be very pleased at what they do.
