I would hope so.
First off, your growing in shitty soil, its a desert for kripes sake.
You have alot of starving people that need food fast.
The bad thing is,some will say its like americans putting small pox on blankets before giving them to the needy.I cant wait to hear what they say about this food thats grown this way.
It is one thing to encourage them to consider using this method.
It is quite another to force people to do so.
I guess freedom is not the actual goal of the U.S for Iraq afterall, but then again was it ever ?

Force people???
HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMm
LLemmie see...
Free seed to farm with, that will grow in that climate
or
No seed,to farm in that climate like it has been done for thousands of years.
How many farms do you think they have in the desert??

The list of member states to this convention is at

The convention predates genetically modified food by about 35 years. Also to quite the author "This order amends Iraq's original patent law of 1970 and unless and until it is revised or repealed by a new Iraqi government, it now has the status and force of a binding law."
UNTIL AND UNLESS--which means they can change it at any time.
I am not saying I think it's a bad idea to use genetic farming, but I do think it should be a choice not a requirement .Originally Posted by BigGreenMnM
