    Guys that drink . . .

Ladies, would you prefer a guy not drink at all ? Do you think he will be more well behaved and have more money left for dances if he didn't drink alcohol and stuck to water and soda ? Or do you think, that if he's drunk, he'll spend a little more and be more relaxed ? I don't know why, I can't go into a bar and drink a soda or water. At a restaurant it feels fine, but at a bar it feels unnatural. Maybe it's a machismo thing. Like seeing a cowboy walk into a bar and order a chocolate milk, that's just not right. Casino's give out free drinks, so ppl start spending money. Do you think if a SC did it, you'd have a bunch of drunks getting a free show not spending ?

Cool sig. I admire men who come to the bar and don't drink (usually ex-alkies.) If you ever lived with an alkie you'd understand. I actually end up just having nice chats with them, and if they don't want dances, politely moving on. Most of my unpleasant confrontations have been with drunk-ass custies.

A little to drink - loosens you up, opens your wallet.

Too much to drink - makes you obnoxious.

Usually the 1st drink is a beer and then after just bottled waters or cokes since I am usually driving too.

Once in awhile, I'll take a sip of my favs drink if she orders something.

I've had some pretty good customers who stuck to bottled water. I don't drink myself, so I think it's fine. Of course, guys who drink are fine, too. I just don't like to deal with obviously drunk people, so I'll avoid them.

As far as having more money if they don't drink, well, a coke or a bottle of water is going to cost you about the same as a domestic beer in most clubs anyway.

A little alcohol can help with the party atmosphere, but I definitely agree that too much usually makes for a bad scenario.

I've had several great customers that have spent money and not had any alcohol though. I personally haven't seen a direct correlation between liquor consumed vs. money spent, though I certainly have seen it in terms of shitty behavior.

Funny - I was thinking about posting this same question myself.

I quit drinking about a year ago and was wondering if anyone would care if I were to stop in for a dance or two, but not order a drink.

Glad to hear it's not a big deal...

As long as you buy dances, nobody is going to be unhappy!

It depends what the customer is like when he drinks. I don't mind if guys are buzzed because sometimes that loosens them up and they spend more money, but I hate it when guys are totally wasted and they become grabby, rude, and just plain obnoxious. I know lots of customers who don't drink at all because they don't want to drive home drunk, which is smart.

It just boils down to moderation. A few drinks to loosen the guy up and help him relax and open his wallet is fine! But who really likes hanging out out with a drunken obnoxious pig? Unless you're right there with 'em! (j/k)

I probably drink more in SCs than I do in regular bars...but then everyone tells me that I just get happy, relaxed and friendly when I drink. I just tend to enjoy the experience more when I've had a drink or two--get's the all-too-common stress out of my head. I also tend to spend more. On the other hand, I (like I'm sure all of us) have seen way too many obnoxious, aggressive drunks at SCs. They make life less pleasant for all of us...

I drink water or soda about 99% of the time in clubs. I will sip champagne with a fav if I do a VIP room but that's about it. I also tend to avoid dancers who drink too much and "BUY ME A SHOT" girls go right off my list. I've never had a problem with liquor-every guy that chooses not to drink is not an alcoholic (btw, there is no such thing as an ex-alcoholic). I just like being in control of my environment. A wallet full of cash should not be taken lightly around beautiful women.
