Default a weird question about bisexuals..

how do you know if you're bi? i know a lot of straight girls who have had sex with chicks but they say they are straight. i think girls are hot and i like to look at the female form and watch girls dance and look at playboys and such, and i've always wondered what it would be like to kiss a girl..and it's a turn on..so i thought maybe i was bi....i have given lapdances to girls before but it has never felt sexual but it does feel comfortable, like she's my sister or something and i usually end up talking to them during the dance instead of concentrating on being sexy because it feels natural to just talk and stuff. and the thought of being intimate with a chick feels just plain weird. my boyfriend says sometimes he is worried that i am a lesbian because i like to look at girls and i think he is turned off by the thought of me being bisexual or with a girl. i thought guys liked the thought of two girls?? it's not like i'll dump him if i am! ayways, it's something i've wondered about myself since i was young and just wondered if anyone more experienced in that way had any input? of this sounds like i am dissing bi's or lesbians in any way, i apologize! i'm cool with it all. to each his own is what i always say...i don't beleive that any one person or even group of people has the right to tell ANYONE that what they believe or do is wrong. (unless they are hurting someone) <--disclaimer

<~~Look how the lesbian takes no offense. IMHO, a bisexual is someone who is happy being in a relationship with a person of either sex. Someone who is able to have sexual relations, and/or fall in love with someone of both sexes. My roomate is straight; however she has had sex with girls, and likes to play occassionally. Does that makes her bisexual? Nope. She couldn't be in a relationship with a girl. To me, she's just adventurous. I think you're very curious, and adventurous. Sometimes, I try really hard to make myself look at guys in a sexual manner, and I just can't do it. Find a girl you're really attracted to, and imagine something happening between the two of you. If it doesn't freak you out, you may need to give it a try. Couldn't hurt anything. Worse thing that happens is you're still straight.
As far as your b/f's feelings about it, put yourself in his position. Imagine if your b/f enjoyed looking at Playgirls, checked-out guys with you, and even hinted that he might want to experiment. There's no definitive right or wrong here. It's a matter of opinion. If my hypothetical g/f wanted to mess with a guy, I would be jealous and against it, but that's just me. I'm not of the cheating variety. Good luck with your endeavors!!

I think there are different levels of bisexuality. For some its all about the person and they're really into sex with both genders. I like girls too but I don't lust after them the way I lust after men. Its more an appreciation for their beauty, I think. And I have no desire to have a relationship with a woman. Sex with girls is nice, but for me it can in no way substitute a man I'm really into*. Maybe we're mildly bisexual?

*The exceptions being Monica Bellucci and Angelina Jolie. I would go to Hawaii or Massachusetts and marry either of them in a heartbeat

omg! angelina, pamela anderson , and katie price(aka. Jordan) are my hotties. so, you think guys get jealous when girls look at other girls? why do they always play it off as "that would be so hot!" i guess i was always confused about my sexuality when i was young, because it took forever for me to find guys attractive, and i would rather look at girls. even now, a guy has to meet certain criteria for him to be hot to me...

Why do you want to try and label yourself?

You already know what your into and how far you would let it go - which is more than what other people are willing to let themselves find out about themselves.

It bothered my first Hubby that I was bi, and he knew it before we had gotten married. My new hubby I told before we even started officially dating, and it didn't bother him a bit. I checkout girls in stores, and when we go out and point out the ones i like, and he'll point out girls that he think I might like and asks what I think. I guess for some people that would be totally weird, but its the norm for us.

Hmmm....I figured I was bi after I met this girl who came in as a customer at work (for all of you who know I work at a "regular" job) and we began talking and Im thinking "god shes really cute Id like to make out with her and get to know her more *in that way*"

It was the wierdest feeling and it freaked me out just a bit. But, I began to realize that if Im feeling feelings like that then I guess its ok b/c its natural for me. Needless to say I was shy and didnt want to ask for her number and that she was from upstate didnt help either

I've known I liked girls for a decent amount of time. I think I had my first full blown crush on a girl in the 6th grade. I didn't act on it until I was older though. I've known girls that knew they were bi for a long time like myself, and other who didn't know until they sort of stumbled into some girl/girl action. I guess everyone's different.

Dakota1 i would just say you are bi-curious. My Gosh isn't it normal to wonder? I think so. And the fact that you would not want to hurt another makes you a kind person.

    Good luck with you're choices!

I have felt strong feelings about men and women. I have fallen in love with both sexes. It's quite normal to be curious about what is out there. Especially when you are going through a time where you are exploring who you are. Like Sirona, I learned at a young age that I liked girls. My first kiss was a girl and that was 6th grade. Didn't feel wrong to either of us. It felt quite natural. Luckily, my husband allows me to explore those feelings when I want. It makes our relationship work for us.

    I agree with DSU.

Can you have a relationship with a woman like you could with a man? I am tired of all of this junior high shit that teens do of "I kissed a girl, I am bisexual Y'all".....Suck a nut.

Maybe you're bi-curious, but men get jealous at even those type of relationships. He has to feel as if he's 'in charge'.....and since he feels as if he isn't, He's going to be gun shy about it.

You're young......Why not explore different things?

I say whatever creams your twinkie. Who cares what it's called? In the long run, if it feels right then go with it. I like chicks too. I make out with them when I want to. I think of having sex with girls when I'm getting off by my bf. No big deal. I don't consider myself a lesbian, yet I do have lesbian tendencies. I've even dated chicks before. Just go with what makes you feel good baby cakes!

It's very simple. If you are female then you should be bi-sexual....on my couch.

    Any questions?

I don't call myself Bi, I say I'm open-minded. I don't know if I could have a relationship with a woman but I doubt it. I think that the female body is more beautiful than the male body and would usually rather look at it. I I truly enjoy sex with some women, though I'm very picky about women I'm sexually attracted to. I'm picky with men but even pickier with women. To some though, it makes a better fantasy. I have a friend that has played but felt weird after every time. She loves the fantasy. I don't understand why we have to label ourselves. If I am attracted to someone their gender doesn't really matter. It's a mental, emotional, and physical attraction.

Do a Google search on the "Kinsey Scale".

That should answer a lot of your questions...

i agree with what a lot of girls here say, that there are maybe diff. levels of being bisexual, and then there's being bi-curious.
my bf knows im bi, we check out girls together, and such, but i think he gets jealous sometimes, knowing i want to be with a girl again soon. i wouldn't cheat on him, but he knows i think about girls a lot too. still, it's fun to be able to look at girls together, and maybe he'll someday let me at least have a threesome with him involved. hah,
