Another good place is candywharehouse.com I've ordered from them and they are cheaper on some things than other sites.

Ahhhh, I see on the top left my favorite little multi-colored sugar dots on paper. Every year my family would drive to visit relatives in the Chicago area. We would take this long ass backroad route, and stop along the way at a place called "The Orange Barn". It really was a barn, and was FULL of different kinds of candy. That's what I wanted...the dots....because I would get like a FOOT of little dots....felt like I was winning the lottery. What perfect euphoric excitement.

Tia, Do you know any places that sell hot fries? A lot of stores stopped selling them. I think they are the cheeto hot fries.

Or a place that sells discontinued drinks/chips?

Are they in a blue bag? I am not sure of the name but I haven't been able to find them in stores.

Do you know how hard it is to live a life without hot fries?

Oooh! Hot Fries! Yep, they're Andy Capp. Rhode Island is so behind-the-times that we still have them here.. LOL.. They're not everywhere, but they're in a few little liquor stores, and some lesser known grocery shops.

    They're awesome though!

HOLY CRAP! They have satellite wafers!!!! Those were my FAVORITE candy growing up. I remember when we'd visit my father on the weekends, and he'd give us bags of pennies when we went home. Down the street from us there was a penny candy store. We'd go blow the pennies the same day.. LOL

Yes, I am excited. I couldn't think of the name at all, Thanks Mo and Rhia for reminding me.

Now I have to find a place that sells onion ring chips and I'll be content.

    Sugar Highs, anyone?

I remember a few small grocery stores around the schools that specialized in candy, pop, etc. At least that's all I remember the stores for.

Stop in at the non-chain places, gas stations, small stores etc when you are driving around out in the country. You'll see more variety than in the usual places. Larger stores are often stocked and ordered by traveling driver/stockers with pretty limited fare and only profits in mind. Smaller ones are stocked and ordered by the Ma and Pa owners also with customer satisfaction in mind for repeated business. They have a place but are disappearing fast. And they are LOTS more interesting places.

Remember the Alan Jackson touching song, "The Little Man"? That's some of 'em. Give 'em some business.

I loved going to strip clubs; I actually made some friends there. Now things are different for the clubs and for me. As a result I am not as happy.

Customers are not entitled to grope, disrespect, or rob strippers. This is their job, not their hobby, and they all need income. Clubs are not just some erotic show for guys to view while drinking.

NOTE: anything I post here, outside of a direct quote, is my opinion only, which I am entitled to. Take it for what you estimate it is worth.

^Exactly what he said. You'd be amazed at how many of those little town stores still have things that we thought were discontinued decades ago. One of my favorite places in the world growing up was the "Exeter Mall". Alright, now this was not a mall at all.. The town was so small back then that it consisted of three stores.. LOL

It's still there today, and still selling the same things it did back then.

Definite time warp when I occasionally get over there to visit old friends and stop in to those shops.

(I can't get that AJ song out of my head now.. LOL)
