I thought I would ask around and see if any of you have an interest in walking nude at this June's upcoming Fremont Solstice parade. In Seattle, every June, there is a parade near the summer solstice. There have been nude bicyclists for about ten years of the last years at the parade. In 98 police arrested two of them and then dropped the charged. Then, between 98 and 2003, the legislature of Washington state changed the law in a way that legally protects people going nude at such an event; I don't think the legislature realized they were legitimizing nudity at that parade, but that is part of what happened resulting from the new, more liberalized, law. Anyway, in 2003 and 2004 I walked nude at the parade and a lot of people had fun taking my photo. (Of course, lots of people took photos of lots of other people and lots of other displays, also.) There were one or two or three others nude on foot, and there were the usual 70 or so nude bicyclists. (There was a very large number in 2003, more than usual, because of the controversy that year.) (Most of the nude bicyclists go painted nude, but some go nude nude.) In 2004, I found a local stripper and paid her to go nearly nude on foot. (She was in a see-thru lace top, see-thru panties and thigh-high stockings.) Lots of people enjoyed taking her photo, also.

I'll be looking for one or several strippers to go nude or topless this year. (Last year, I only started looking one week ahead of time for the event.) The only question is I don't know how much $ I'll have in June to pay for traveling expenses. If I have a lot, I'll pay for airfare and a hotel night and fees; if not, I'll only be paying for local help and not transportation expenses.

if you have an interest and wish to learn more about the parade, just search the web for Fremont Solstice parade. If you wish to learn more about nudity at the parade, items will come up, or search for David Zaitzeff Fremont Solstice parade. Or, search for nude bicyclists Fremont parade.

Anyway, if any of you have an interest, post here or let me know. Of course, this is not your usual stripping situation! No lap dances for this! And, there are lots of kids in the audience, so this idea might not appeal to some of you for that reason. That's OK! But, if you are OK with kids seeing other people nude (and yourself) and you would enjoy a nice nude walk, including waving and saying hello to spectators and having your photo taken (either by yourself, or with them, with me, etc.) you would enjoy it.

As for the kids, in 2003, the weatherlady of Q13 (one of Seattle's TV stations) on the 10:00 news said she, the weatherlady, was their with her daughter. After or during the parade, the daughter said to her mom, "How come there weren't more nude people?" That's what I'd like to know!

And, in 2004, the Seattle Times interviewed some of the kids about the nudity at the parade. One 8-year-old said the nude bicyclists were his favorite part.
