    Hello All!!
    Now before you start yellin I know its been forever since I last posted but just remember I am dancing now and still going to college for my RN licences so go easy on me LOL!!

    I have been trying to lose these last 25lbs and can't seem to get them off I lost a great deal of weight already you all know that if you knew me before if not here is my update. I was 220 and now 130 I want to lose these last 25 for my goal but look great but just want to tone up and not be so flabby any suggustions?

    My eating habits are good. I try to eat clean all 6 days a week and have my one cheat day. But lately its been fast food and no gym time so can someone please help. I am getting ready to go to either San.Francisco or Vegas not sure which place so I want to look my best please help me !!!!

    Hi Honey, good to see you again. I am working on losing pounds too. Some tips:
    There are some foods that promote fat-burning. Chiles and grapefruit. Also, drink apple cider vinegar mixed in water- (like two teaspoons to one glass of water) it tastes gross but helps clean out the system.
    I hate to run, but it's the most effective exercise so I make myself do it. Just work out at every oppurtunity, like when sitting watching TV, or if you need to run an errand within walking distance, walk to do it.
    Hey, also remember if you're tall and curvy, some of your weight really isn't fat, it's bone and muscle. Don't make yourself sick....you'll get to where you need to be. Good luck!

    Glad things seem to be going well for you! Good luck with your RN license!

    Alright, now... You have come a very very long way already. I can't remember how tall you are, but are you sure that losing 25 more pounds is what you want to do? That would put you at 105 pounds, and if you're taller, you may end up looking skeletal and unhealthy. Toning up is probably the best thing for you to do, just to get rid of the extra stuff. Pilates/Yoga are great for that.

    You already know that fast food is bad.. LOL.. It's the debbil. What types of things are you getting? I think that most fast food joints now have salads on the menu and low-carb, low-fat stuff. Maybe you can just grab some of those healthy foods instead of the other junk. It's convenient when you're in a rush, but fast food is evil.

    Drink lots and lots of water.

    While the gym is nice, it's not totally necessary. Staying active is the key. Normal things, like parking your car at the farthest end of the parking lot so that you have to walk, taking the stairs instead of elevators/escalators, or just taking a power walk (especially while it's still a bit cold out: cold weather: speeds up the metabolism. It works harder to keep your body warm) are some suggestions. So if you can't always get to the gym, there are still things you can do everyday to help you stay fit.

    I'm sure there will be tons of others who can give you more suggestions. As for me, I have absolutely no time for the gym and have never had a membership in my life. I just find ways to keep myself going, and what I've suggested has worked for me, especially for losing the few extra pounds after having kids.

    um I'm wondering and you can let me know... Since that is a big weight loss are you sure some of the weight you are thinking need to lose isn't extra skin. Plus have you ever found out what your lean mass weight is? You might not need to lose 25 lbs. Maybe you are holding on to some weight because of stress.

    I may have many faults, but being wrong ain't one of them.

    My friend works for a modeling agency and she gave me this diet to follow to loose the 10 lbs I was trying to get rid off. I lost it in about a week. I haven't been following it exactly since then, haven't been able to, but I have been following some key points and I've kept it off, actually I've lost another 5 lbs. This is going to be a little long, I'm going to give you the diet and then the points I've been keeping to.
    Here's the diet:
    *Wake up, brush teeth, Drink 8oz water
    *8:00 - Breakfast: Eat a small bowl of bran cereal w/a splash of nonfat milk. The cereal should have at least 8g fiber and less than 6g sugar. Drink 8oz water.
    *10:00 - Eat fruit (1 apple, pear, some grapes, etc). Drink 8oz water.
    *12:00 - Lunch: BIGGEST MEAL OF THE DAY - Stick to lean meats, veggies, salad. You may have a small desert like Healthy Choice Ice Cream bars. Drink 8oz water.
    *2:00 - Eat fruit (something w/more sugar like a plum or banana). Drink 8oz water.
    *4:00 - drink 4oz juice AND 8oz water.
    *5:30 - Dinner: Small serving of lean meat or chicken or tuna salad, veggies, salad. Drink 8oz water.
    If you are starving AND ONLY IF eat a small bowl of bran cereal.
    NO SUGAR, FATS, SALT, FRIED OR FAST FOOD, CHEESE, BREAD, RICE, PASTA, BEANS, ETC., NO ALCOHOL.

    Here's the rules I use:
    *Drink A LOT of water
    *Eat several small meals a day, it speeds up your metabolism
    *No salt, use Mrs. Dash to season your food, it tastes great and has no sodium or MSG
    *Use balsamic vinegar and olive oil for salad dressing
    *Try "I Can't Beleave It's Not Butter" and Olivio Spray, it's butter flavored but has nothing bad in it.
    *If you want to snack eat crunchy foods, it fools your body into thinking you've eaten more. I like the Quaker mini rice cakes, they come in a bag and are about the size of a half dollar. The serving size is 6 so what I do is crumble them up and eat the tiny pieces, I feel like I ate more.
    *Stay away from carbs, starches, and dairy
    *Try to do 1hr of cardio 3x a week
    *Don't eat after 6pm, your metabolism slows down as daylight goes away
    *Give yourself one cheat day a week
    *Set small goals, break it up into 5lb increments, and reward yourself as you meet your goals.
    *The bran is great, it cleans out your system and honestly makes you feel better, but it's pretty bland. I got some dried dates and put just a few in my cereal. I put them in the milk and let it sit for a min or two, it sweetens the milk which then sweetens the cereal.
    *You said you go to the gym, a lot of them do free body fat analysis, check into that. They can tell you how much you really need to loose and what areas to focus on.
    *Find a friend who can go to the gym with you, you'll be more likely to work out if you're supposed to meet someone, plus you can motivate each other and point out the progress you make but can't always see.

    There's more but I think this is long enough and I doubt most people will read the whole thing anyway, lol. Good Luck, if you really want to do it I'm sure you will succeed.

    Hi, Honey!

    Sweetie, I am 5'6", and at 105 pounds, I looked anorexic. Not healthy (I know that already, since I was anorexic/bulemic). I weigh about 135 right now and I look very toned and very healthy. You may not be able to lose that "last" 25 pounds because your body knows it won't be healthy for you.

    Now...if the above is not correct, then you probably need to jump start your workout. First...check your water consumption...if it's a little low, up it. Then, when you hit the gym, you are going to need to change your cardio...and increase the level you are on...and work your ASS off.

    Pilates/Yoga is not for losing any weight. It will help make your muscles long, lean, toned, supple/flexible. But, sometimes by incorporating these things into your workout, by really toning the muscles from the "inside out" you'll jump start more fat burning.

    Don't make yourself sick. Not everyone in the world was meant to fit into a size 0 and be 105 pounds. I wear a 6...and everyone says I look fine. I don't think I could lose much more weight if I wanted to...unless I went back to my "diet" that could have killed me.

    Be healthy...and maybe really look at yourself...take some pics now. You'll probably be surprised at how different you look in "real life" as opposed to in your mind.

    The Statement That Venusgoddess Made Is 100% Percent Correct. Your Body Has Hit A Plateau, Because Your Body Is Letting You Know That You Are At Your Ideal Weight. Anymore Loss And It Won't Be Able To Function Correctly, And You Will Look Sick Instead Of Sexy. To Tone Up Just Work With Weights, By Doing Slow Reps Until You Can't Do It Anymore, In A Few Months Of This You'll Be Toned And Healthy.

    Thank you all soo very much!

    I am about 5'4 and NO i don't have any extra skin hanging on me I am lucky that way. I went into the doctors office to get some lipo and he laughed adn told me i didn't need anything maybe a breast lift but no lipo. I told him my huge weight lost and he said due to me being younger that my body just responded as to if I was having a baby and I have great skin.

    I just want to lose these last 20 pounds for myself I look great but just feel flabby like I said so I will try Pilates and cleaning up my eating.

    Thanks sooo much for all your great tips and I will try that diet!
