Default Topless or bare it all????

Hey ladies! I've been reading this site for about a year now...And I've learned ALOT so i just want to say THANKS! I still havn't gotten the balls to do it, but Im aiming for this summer. Im in college now, and I rather work near (but not too close) to my home. But anyways...
Im just wondering, what do you think would be better...starting out topless, or totally nude...Im leaning towards topless because going from not stripping at all, to being ass naked is just a little intimidating! any advice would help so much! thanks!

Hey!! I went from a non dancer to a totally nude dancer and if anything it gave me instant confidence. I didn't think I had that. My 2 cents is: if you've been thinking about it for that long...just do it now!! better to get the freaky part over with! And what the heck, go nude.

I think it just depends on the individual.

I may have many faults, but being wrong ain't one of them.

look at the thread started by aspiring69, I think it's in ladies lounge. It talks about exotic dancer vs. stripper. Nude dancers are exotic dancers and nonnude is stripping, according to her definitions. That means if you aren't nude, you are doing something that is more of a routine with more pizzaz. I prefer nude dancing because there's more to take off in a shorter time frame, so I don't have to do more moves in between strippings. I agree with Cianna it gave me instant confidence, so hit the ground and run!

It all depends on what YOU are comfortable with..if you arent comfortable with being nude on stage, it will show, believe me. But if you think you could be naked in front of lots of men, go for it. Just be comfortable with what you are doing.

Hey! thanks alot!! You are right, i do need to just go for it...I cant really right now, busy with school, and there arent any clubs in the surrounding area, at least that interest me....

I would like to go for an audition maybe in May....I have one more question...I'm pretty self confident I'd like to think, but I'm just wondering, do you think i have what it takes? i know you all hear this alot, but i mean Im just curious, bc I never knew what a dancer with my body type makes, how do you think I will do? I'm 5'9 (like 6'1 with heels!) athletic body, somewhat toned, about a b cup....brown shoulder length hair, and I can be shy at first, but i open up quick.

Just don't wear heels that are too tall. It will make you look all funny and not proportioned correctly. I am 5'7 myself and I always wore 7 inch heels, because I LOVE being taller. I probably should have stuck with something shorter, but I like the tallness..perhaps someone else who knows more about the height and heel should answer to this one.

If anything I prefer to be fully nude and actually enjoy it. Im very comfortable that way and find it can be sort of powerful in a way.

It has helped with confidence. I also have worked in clubs where they werent as strict about even just being naked on the floor in between sets.

Male tastes are, to put it mildly, varied. Some like blonds, some brunettes. Some like large breasts, some small. Some like......etc., etc. Some men will find you very attractive, some less so - the good old law of averages.

Providing you are comfortable with being nude in front of strangers, put on an enjoyable pefomance, and can hold up your end of a conversation, there's no reason why you won't do well.

Providing a dancer is reasonably attractive, then personality seems to count for more than looks.

Finally, men have very much a steroetypical view of what a stripper should be. The higher earning dancers, (see posts elsewhere on this site), seem to understand this stereotype and conform to it, at least while they're working. In the final analysis, you are trying to earn the best living you can and that's done by being the fantasy many men go into strip clubs to find.

I think it depends on how long you actually want to be dancing on stage. IE - If you want to take your time to dance and make a hell of a show then go topless. If you don't really want to be making a 1-2 song routine and just get up there you might want to start nude.

When I go to a sc I love it when I see a girl with an awesome routine, who radiates confidence (not arrogance or cockiness), has a magnetic personality, and makes me feel like she finds me attractive (flirts with me!). To me that is a perfect dancer. I'll like her more than a perfect 10 playboy bunny who's up there looking all uptight and when I talk to her she's a total arrogant bitch.

On full nudes vs topless, I find the full nudes very erotic... they turn me on! I find topless dancing very sensual... its sexy. They won't get me as... exited (grins) as a full nude but then again they make me feel great cause I love to flirt with the dancers if they're flirting with me (even though I know they're just trying to hustle me for my money.... people aren't logical! LOL)

    Good luck!

To me, once its off and you have the little G's as coverage..taking those off does not bother me. But for the longest time I thought I could never do that. Well I got over it when I started at a new nude club. It does'nt bother me as much as I thought it would. But you may want to try topless for starters. And once you get over the first night you should be fine...don't push keep pushing your starting date back..go for at as soon as you can....prolonging it only makes the nervousness build up. Good luck!
