I have noticed lately that my elboes are sore after lifting weights. The arm muscles are the usual sore after - but I notice a certain muscle on the outside of my elboes stays sore for two days after I stop lifting.
Normal?

Yes It's Very Normal Those Muscles Hurt/sore Because They Were Being Used, Don't Worry In A Few Days They'll Be Back To Normal Just Take Some Anti-inflamatories Such As Tylenol, Advil, .. Which Ebver One You Want. Best Of Luck On Your Work Outs .
hmmm. I don't know. Unless you're talking about your forearm muscles, your elbow has nothing but tendons. If your elbow is bothering you after a workout, it could mean you have inflamed tendons due to over working these areas. How often do you workout? How often do you lift? I would take a week off, or reduce the number of reps and/or weight you're doing until you no longer have pain in your elbow. You don't want to develop tennis elbow, which can last much longer...
also, when you are lifting, make sure you are using the bars which have your palms facing slightly inwards towards your body. Flat bars put more strain on your elbows.
^ Agreed...also, you need to make sure that you are not hyper-extending.

I'm with A_Guy and Venus... sounds like tennis elbow to me. very common overtraining injury. Rest Ice Compression Elevation (RICE) Lay off the bi/tri exercises until the pain subsides.
Normal, absolutely. I also recommend not to train again while it hurts. How long do you experience this, maybe after a weight change?
