Two things. It could be what Pamela said. Or it could have really been her number but it got smeared. Don't think about it too much. If you really want to get down to the bottom of it..go to the club..tell her what happened..or if she brings it up that you never called...then you got you're answer.

Hmmm....I just want to say this: There were times when I met guys in the club who I genuinely found attractive and interesting, and who I thought I might like to see out of the club. I can probably count on one hand the number of times that I gave out my phone number in 13 years (just a personal rule), but often I'd take a guy's number with the best intentions of giving him a friendly call (not a 'sales call').....In the end, it was always fear that kept me from doing this. I was afraid that a) he was a serial killer (some of those guys have been quite attractive and charming!)....b) he was enamored of my 'stripper self' and if he saw me outside the club he would lose interest. So I never called. Better safe than sorry, I figured, and it did keep me out of trouble. (The one time I did date a customer it was major trouble, but that's another story...)
I know this is a little off-topic in a way....I mean, I can't really offer much insight into the original question, BUT, it is more in response to all the guys who are saying that a girl telling you you're special is just 'stripper sh*t'. Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't....the trouble is telling the difference, and its true that the best way to figure it out is probably to go back and see the girl again. If you do, you may find that the magic is gone (sometimes it's just a fleeting thing....), or you might find that there is still some hope. And if she blows you off, it could be out of fear more than malice. Good luck either way.

i think if she told you she'd give you right off top, then she was expecting to get more dances from you, you know, making you think she was into you.
