Yes Farrah, she was insignificant. However, I don't need the money; I have a net worth of 500K right now. I am now doing this for the fun of it, which is I guess another reason this woman pissed me off. She assumed WAY too much. And yes, I was just trying to help my girl out; my bad there (again!).

It does suck, though...and, I AM still wondering...if she's a CUSTOMER, why would she be so concerned about what you actions do for the other dancers? It really does sound like she IS/WAS one or that she is good friends with someone who is...
I too am wondering how she knows about the regulations.

I don't think she would've been worth the fist fight. You would've gotten bruises.

Since the manager let you off with a warning, getting on that stage and dancing like nothing she could do would hold you back would have been the best revenge. Oh, and then taking her fiance to the champagne room. Afterall, it is your duty as a dancer as it was her "duty" to report you.

Some shit like that had no bearing on the tattletale, it didn't effect her, and was petty. A pint of Vodka isn't going to be a big deal (and if this thing could be hidden in a couch, it was a small bottle).

Prolly could have handled it better than trying to pounce on a custy in a public place, though. 'Fired,' fired, or quit has little meaning when you add lawyers into the equation. In the future, i'd learn to reel that in. At least while there are eyes about.
Sorry about the whole quote, but Madcap, you hit the nail on the head! This was effectively for me,my backyard. Yes, yes, it's a "public" place, etc; but you all would have to understand the dynamics in my town and in this club, I guess. to really get it. And there weren't even 40 ppl in the whole club, much less outside. Really. Isn't that pitiful. Also, in general, it was over so quickly that my friend who was sitting close up in the side stage never even knew what was going on until I was already dressed. How's that for discreet?

If it would have been me, I would have just called her out right on the spot, saying she was a stupid bitch, among other things, then left. People SO often forget, that sometimes words are much worse than fighting..

From what I understand, by being "fired" ; the club now has PLAUSIBLE deniablitiy after that for whatever occured after they fired me. That was the point of what I did there. Again, I am not upset really, even, about the whole incident, except that I sometimes am very naieve that there are such NASTY ppl in the world. I think that is what I am really railing about...why do these ppl have nothing better to do with their lives that involve themselves in my business? (according to my libretarian views is was my business, but of course I am aware it is not as it stands). I really just needed to vent to ppl who would really "get" the whole ridiculous nature of what she did-ppl who have been in this biz for 8 years or more really understand where I am coming from. Not trying to be snotty there, it's just the way we see things. To me, your point was already a given. And if it hadn't been me, it would invaribly have been someone else; maybe not this night, but the girl had a PROBLEM. If she is this nasty here, hate to see what she's like outside of a club! In a perverse way, it was easier for me to take the brunt of it than someone in a stricter situation. Don't overanalyze me here, this is sometimes just the way I see things. Thanks for the advice

yeah, I think the girl was a bitch for doing that to you. I understand how you feel. You recognize that you did something wrong and got a slap on the wrist. But why the hell did the girl even have to turn you in? I mean, she's in a SC. You'd think she was at a PTA meeting. I know in Thorn's fantasy ethical dreamland that it shouldn't matter why she was turning you in, but there are more rules in the world than just laws. I think what it comes down to is that as dancers we have an unspoken rule that we look the other way when we see stuff like that. She is not part of the scene, so she doesn't know the "rules." And obviously she was a narc, and the last place you need one of those is a SC. Just learn from this that you need to stop and try to put things in perspective when something like this happens to you. I'm sure you could have made her feel a lot more idiotic by calling her out and flaunting your sexual power.

Nah, Thorn; I really do see your point; I tried to give the manger an out by telling him to fire me before telling him why, but there's not really a plausible way to see that he would not ask why, so catch 22 there. What's a irritated stripper to do? Again, thanks for the advice!

Honestly, that area of the world is so screwed up I won't go back there again... and I was born in NC. There's just too much good-ole-boy shit going on.... that chick prob new management or something. I've had so much of that kinda crap happen to me there.... It changed my world when I got the heck out. Those people run in packs like a bunch of hyenas.

I'm gonna look at this from a SLIGHTLY different angle....

Everyone knows a cop or two, right? In my humble opinion (and experience), most "senior" cops are pretty cool about most things. If it's not really f--king something up, cops generally don't want to do the paperwork over stupid s--t.

ON THE OTHER HAND, there are "cop-wanna-be's", if you know what I mean. Rookie cops and people who wish they were cops. They usually have really fucking skewed senses of reality. Case in point, when I was in h/s, I spent a few weeks one summer as a junior counselor at a summer camp. Shared a cabin with a girl who was REALLY out about the fact that she wanted to be a narc when she grew up. Seriously. She thought marajuana was in the same category as murder. Dunno why. Generally, she did NOT seem to be that highly moraled on other issues, just had a crazy thing about pot. Wierd thing, though, I was smoking like every night out in the woods as was about half the counselor staff! She had no friggin clue about what we were doing or the fact that half the counselors there were stoned every night. She was so stupid, she was below even being a JOKE. Once everyone got a good chuckle out of her, we just ignored the shit out of her.

For WHATEVER reason, the chick in your story was one of these "cop-wanna-be's". Get it?

Don't ya feel sorry for the dude who's gonna marry her?

This is true of drivers as well--as in automobile drivers...

Like the guys that refuse to move over to the right, and doggedly go the speed limit, or below it, in the left lane--since you shouldn't be speeding anyways, right?
