"I very much resent it when people - maybe with good intentions or from a progressive point of view - keep telling me, 'It's their culture' ... It's like saying the culture of Massachusetts is burning witches." -Azar Nafisi
Stuck up folk put me off no matter who they are or what the do.
The biggest turn-off for me is when a girl is way too shy and has no idea how to act around you or what to say. While it is pretty cute, I'm a fairly shy guy to begin with and shy girls make me feel uncomfortable and like I have to do too much "work" (attention and conversation) to gain their interest.
I like to go to the SC to relax, if I wanted to exert all my efforts into getting a shy girl to talk to me, I would go to class or go to a normal club!![]()
I don't like stuck up prima donna types who think some of their customers are losers no matter how attractive they seem to be.

"Stuck up" and entitlement oriented would win hands down, and not just from dancers, but pretty much anyone I do business with.
Phoniness would be my second choice. I don't come to the titty bar to meet the gal in the Hustler spread who gets laid six times a night, and administers 30 BJ's a week. I'd rather my entertainer feel that she can be sexy just by being herself.
Former SCJ now in rehab.

I don't like fake girls. I know we all have to fake a little, but when it's obvious is when it's annoying.

Being stuck up.Everyone's sh*t stinks.Phoniness goes hand in hand with being stuck up.

Phony for me .
yeah, phony is the worst because you never know what part of the meeting she will exaggerate to her friends. You have to always be on your toes and watch what you say because a phony person is also two faced
Stuck up, with phoney being a very close second.

Stuck up and phoney are both good choices, someone mentioned "entitlement oriented" I think all these "conditions" are the result of a significant percentage of these women having an extremley warped view of reality. IE the behavours in them that we do not care for they look at as "normal"
A big know it all , Ive seen my coworkers in action and I dont think its attractive to PRETEND to know it all.
I hate phony girls. But I also hate stuck-up girls. I'm not sure which I think I hate more.
But I actually like shyness. If I ever saw a shy stripper in a club, I would probablly talk to her first. Just because shyness is a natural human flaw, and talking to her would probablly be more real than talking to a girl with the average "flirty-sexy-outgoing" act.
btw, Goldengrl69: your avater is hypnotizing.
Toss up between phony and stuck-up...I went with phony. But really, either type is a big turn-off for me. A dancer can offer the most dull conversation in the world, but as long as it seems real and friendly, I'm happy as a clam.![]()

I love how phony is considered the biggest personality flaw when truth is, almost all dancers you talk to in a strip club are acting at least somewhat phony. The skill lies in not letting the customers know it's an act, and my customers don't. I am always getting compliments that I am genuine, seem "normal," or act like a "real" person.
If you guys don't want the girls to act phony, quit asking questions we need to lie to answer. For example, What's your real name? So, do you have a boyfriend? Do you ever get excited doing lap dances? How about you let me take you out to dinner? etc, etc....

Customers know I have a boyfriend, they know I dont want to have sex with them, no, I wont have dinner with them. The girls I know, as well as myself, dont beat around the proverbial bush anymore, and guys love it. They praise us for being real, and honest, and human. *shrugs*
But as for my choice in this poll?
My peeves about personality flaws were set in stone when I was only a customer, years ago lol. Stuck up chicks I can stomach to an extent. TO AN EXTENT... but fake chicks drive me batshit insane. It doesnt matter what they're being fake about, if they cant pull off the act and I can tell they are being fake? Forget it. Vomit. Ugh. It always seems like its such a chore to have to be 100% someone else at work. I dunno. I just cant stand it.

Dancers should be as friendly to customers as they are to their own friends, maybe they could make better tips that way.![]()
Although I only have a customer's perspective, I would have to agree. My current favorite dancer is very forthcoming about many things that do not correspond to the typical "stripper persona". For example, she has a 3-year old child, and often discusses difficulties/issues with past boyfriends, etc. I didn't expect her to divulge such information; she just chooses to on her own. Honestly, it makes me much more interested in her as a person, and much more likely to spend money on her when I am in the club.Originally Posted by PaigeDWinter
This is in contrast to a few dancers who clearly have an "act". The problem is, in many cases it is too obvious. For example, regardless of what they claim, I know that they did not just have an orgasm during a lap dance, I know that I am not the sexiest guy they have danced for, etc., etc. In other cases, there are dancers who will forget something that they have told me during a past visit--and then say something totally different when they see me again. I never mention it, but just the feeling that I am so obviously being lied to does not do much to turn me on.
Yes, I'm sure that some dancers can pull it off very well, and very convincingly. And of course, I don't expect that dancers will be totally honest all the time, about everything. Hell, who is? However, the obvious fakes are a big turn-off for me.

I voted for "stuck up".
When you prance around thinking your shit don't stink.... you think you are better than everyone else in the world, give me a break.
Good afternoon Ladies and Gentleman, my first post!
Stuck up
Correct me if I am wrong, but the ladies are there to make money by entertaining. Phony I can understand to a degree as they have thier stage persona. Shy can be cute, particulary if it is a girls first night. Boring convo, I accept that some girls might not be able to converse well on certain topics that interest each customer. But being stuck up, wouldnt that be counter productive to making money?
Whatever the case may be, it seems that most of the people seem to agree on being stuck up as The Biggest Personality Flaw.

As a customer, my vote goes to stuck up.
There's nothing that looks worse than a girl who thinks she is too good for everything, looking bored on stage.
As a dancer, the fake girls get an immediate eye-roll from me.![]()
Because there ain't no tits on the radio
Lucky you, you must have more understanding customers than I do. Almost every single regular I've had has asked me out, numerous times. While I don't flat out lie and say yes (like some girls I know), I will skirt around the issue. I have to if I want to keep making money off them. I also get the guys who always ask me if I am enjoying the dance as much as they are. Ugh... if someone asks me a bullshit question like that, they will get a bullshit answer.Originally Posted by PaigeDWinter

Its all mutual exploitation. Dont feel bad about lying...I doubt he expects a truthful answer anyway. He is just mentally masturbating as hes talking to you.Originally Posted by Jayln

Not sure whether "seems phony" is the best option, but the sort of dancer I most dislike is the one that makes it abundantly clear that her sole motivation is money.
Now, this may well be true, but dancers are there to entertain, and maintaining the polite fiction that there is a degree of mutual enjoyment strikes me as being one of life's simple courtesies.
Perfunctory lap dances, barely concealed boredom, heading off 3 nano-seconds after it's clear you do not intend to spend any more money on her - all big entries in my mental "black book".

I think the key distinction is seems phony. Obviously, there is fantasy involved, and not everything said in a SC is honest. No problems here. However, when a stripper is too obvious about the deception--or seems phony-- it breaks the fantasy for me. I agree with Jayln, however, in that if you ask a dumb question, then you are just asking for a phony answer. In that case, you get what you ask for...
