    Default Weight Dilemma... Need Advice

Well after being too skinny my whole life, I a finally at what I feel is a perfect size (5). The problem is, I have gained a lot of weight in my mid section and never lost the baby fat from my pregnancy last year (in fact, I've added to it). As a result, look 4 months pregnant and my back fat is un-fucking-believeable. Everything else is perfect, just my middle is the problem. Now here's the dilemma. I can either work out, loose al the weight from everywhere (because I can't spot treat the fat) and go back to being skinny (which I hated and almost had some kind obsession with gaining weight) or I can opt for some lipo and keep everything else the same. If I did lose it all and then tired to gain it back after my tummy went down, the fat would just come right back where it was. My body is no good at putting on muscle so I can't replace the fat with muscle, it just doesn't work for me. I'm looking for the pro's and con's of both situations so I can make an informed decision. Thanks for any help.

If you push alot of wieght when you wieght train you can build good muscle tone that way. Thats always worked for me.

As for lipo...I think somewhere on here that if you do it the weight can possibley (w/o watching what you eat, no excersise etc) can come back in other places.

Itll be nice to see what other people might have to say on this one.

If you do not get results with weight training, then you are not using big enough weights with proper repetitions. That being said...there is no way for you to JUST lose weight in one area and leave the other areas alone.

Lipo is NOT good...and it's not 100% effective. IMHO, you should NEVER get lipo and use the money you would spend on lipo to hire a good personal trainer who can show you how to weight lift properly (to create muscle and increase fat loss) and also give you pointers on eating.

With abdominal/middle fat...it's all in the eating, more than anything else. Are you eating too many carbs? Too much pop? Too much sweets/deep fried/salty foods? If so...then it'll show up by keeping the "fat" in the middle. Tighten up your eating habits, do cardio, weight lift properly, throw in some Yoga and/or Pilates...and you should be good to go in a couple months.

Thanks ladies! I appreciate the advice. I am thinking about a personal trainer before I go as far as lipo. It's just hard to think that I'll lose all the curves I've gained . However, If I could make it all into muscle then I'll look even better . To the personal trainer!!!!

I've found pilates is really good at scuplting your midsection and reducing back fat. May be worth a try? After having kids, it really helped me to tone up my tummy. Good luck!

how's your posture? If you slouch it will make it look worse. I know when I stand up straight I look a lot smaller. If I don't I look about 4 or 5 months pregnant also. Just an idea.
