I know this goes on the body forum, but no one has answered me there, and it is kind of a newbie question. Can anyone tell me how long waxing lasts, and how long you need to let it regrow before waxing again?
Thanks.
Love.

Usually lasts between 4-6 weeks before you need to get it done again. You want to make sure that you let the hairs grow out long enough before your next session because otherwise the next waxing won't get all of it and you'll have strays. Also, strangely enough the longer the hairs the less it hurts. If you are waxing a part that is used to being shaved its really gonna hurt. And also make sure you find a professional whose been doing it awhile - I've heard horror stories of that stuff getting suck in places that aren't fun. The best kind of wax has beeswax and honey in it because it is less irritating to the skin...Oh, and don't do it on a day you plan on working because you may be a little red and sore til the next day. Just some extra helpful advice.
I shave everything. Does that mean it's really gonna hurt even if I let the hair grow in?Originally Posted by bigblueyes

I've never heard that. Besides, don't we always get parts waxed that are used to shaving? I don't think it makes a difference. Any irritation or sensitivity you've got from shaving will have disappeared by the time your hair has grown out enough to wax.
I'm moving this back over to Body Business.

What about on a guy, how long does that last and does it really hurt?
