Well I personally dont dig fake drink orders. Maybe it's me but a) it's illegal and b) its rude to make a customer pay more than they should. Gods forbid they find out you're faking a drink. *shrugs*

But all that aside, I know a lot of girls who get their drinks checked since they're under 21, but unless they ARE drinking alcoholic drinks underage, no one ever gets the boot for "maybe".... odd.

Do you know how much a liquor license costs ? Alot ! Usually over 10 grand. I don't think I'd want to lose my liquor license over one dancer that's for sure. Also in lots of places if a club loses it's license the person whose name it's under can not have another alcohol business for many, many years, sometimes never again.

I don't think it is right for underage people to put clubs at risk like that. If a club gets shut down alot of people lose their jobs and tons of money as well as the right to have a similar business in the future. It is not always just owners who lose their jobs but also other staff and dancers too. People can go to jail because of an underage person.

It's pretty selfish IMHO for any underage person to put so many others at risk just so they can get their buzz on.

With an attitude like the one you have displayed here I can totally understand why you were fired. Whether you were actually drinking or not. What kind of club wants to put up with crap like that? Trust me they will have another girl just as pretty and as much the shit as you any second now Sorry but its the truth.

How is a "fake" drink illegal? I've had MANY in my day. I just refuse to drink anything alcoholic. If the guy I'm dancing for insists on something other than water, I'll get a fake drink. If he's going to insist that I drink something other than water, then he'll be completely fine with paying more money. He won't find out it's not an alcohol drink if you don't say anything, so what's wrong?

I agree that the OP needs an attitude adjustment. You were just WAY out of line...instead of keeping your wits about you and dealing with the situation in a calm and adult manner...you simply nailed your own coffin shut. The only person you should be mad at is yourself.

Besides...you admitted to smoking pot before you went in...so your manager would know that if you tested negative for blood alcohol, that you must have something else in there. He probably didn't want to deal with that, either. Clubs can lose their business if the girls get caught drinking underage...or being/getting high. It may all be inconsequential to you...but it most certainly is not for the club owner.

Maybe it's time to stop blaming everybody else and grow up a bit.

In some states it's very illegal to have a customer pay for a drink that is either watered down or not what he's paying for. I've seen 2 clubs get their liquor permits yanked for it. Depends on the state, maybe... but I know it's really a no-no in the states I've worked in. Some places do it, but they all admit that they shouldnt.

I always ordered fake drinks at work, except maybe a malibu and pineapple a few times. Im just not into the whole getting drunk/buzzed thing, but as far as fake drinks go, I will do what I need to do to fill my drink quota to not have to pay for them myself. As far as the girl's drama..I would have fired her in a heartbeat.
