I've worked in Missoula at Freds and Moulin Rouge in Missoula. I don't like the clubs.
When you get off stage the housemom requires you to turn in all your stage money to her and she puts in in a bag with your name on it. Same with dances and then they take their percentage out of it before they return the cash at the end of the night. I would avoid those clubs.
Freds stopped the $300 base pay recently. Moulin Rouge has no base pay. the club is nice but not that busy and the weekends are full of young customers.
Sagebrush Sams outside of Butte, Shotgun Willies in Laurel, right outside of Billings, Teasers in Three Forks and Buffalo Station right outside of Bozeman are better bets for you. Shotguns pays $400 for a weeks booking. A booking for a week is Mon-Sat.
Planet Lockwood is hit and miss in Billings but has base pay of $375 for the week and is relatively easy to book into.
Most girls there book a different club each week.
About 4 weeks before you will be there, call Shotgun Willies, Planet Lockwood, and Sagebrush Sams and line up bookings for back to back weeks. Then you can plug the other two clubs and let them know the week before what days you will work the following week.
4 weeks in a row of 6 day bookings if you are a dance hustler and good on stage, should net you $6000-$8000.![]()
thanks for the info![]()
hey check us out

Hey Buffalo 29, I have been working in Montana on bookings along with other states for 3 years now. I don't like downtime as I keep my weeks booked in advance. I heard you audition and I don't have time to do that as I am always booked. I have been wanting to try your club and have heard good things about it. Can I give you a week I have not booked, and get lined up to work that entire week in your club. I have a week open in June.
Please PM me.
Thanks

I've worked plenty in Missoula, and will have to second what Tina has said. The clubs in Missoula have the same fee schedule. They have a "house Mom" but really all she is, is a floor manager that makes sure that the girls aren't breaking the rules, and that all dance fees get paid. A seasoned dancer won't have much patience for the way the clubs are run in Missoula.
On the flip side, Missoula is pretty busy in the summer, and you can make decent money IF you are a good hustler. If you don't like to hustle much you won't make it there.
The private dances are medium contact, and extras can be had at Moulin Rouge as there are plenty of dark corners were it isn't immeadately apparent what the dancers are doing. I beileve that the extras girls are getting paid a lot extra to cross the line.
I think the dances are underpriced, and I charge more for my dances when I'm there. I will offer a no contact dance for $20 or will offer contact for $30 a song. I also charge more for VIP time at Moulin. They have their base rate set at $150 for 30 minutes (about 10 songs) and $50 goes back to the house. So I charge $200 for my VIPs and also hint at a tip when we start ("you know that the house takes $50 from me every time I come in here, so if you really like the show, a little tip at the end is appreciated") They will usually tip around $20-100 in VIP depending on the guy.
On the other clubs around Montana, the best club to work for is Buffalo Station. I worked there once in December and loved the girls, the guys were very generous, and the fees were low. My only problem with the bar was the music was too loud, making a good hustle difficult. I would reccomend bringing ear plugs to this club. You aren't going to be able to talk anyway since the music is blasting, so the "wanna dance" is really the only way to get dances anyhow. Maybe the customers have complained and they have now turned the music down a bit, but bring your earplugs just in case.
I've never worked in Great Falls, so have no info. Sagebrush Sam's is an extra's club. The girls aren't real cute, and the customers are the worst kind of guys looking to get a lot of "services" for very little money. Teaser's is hit or miss. I work there Monday and Tuesday while waiting for Buffalo Station to open. The girls that can't work at Buffalo Station work at Teaser's. Billings can be good, but I'm not real fond of the city itself. The house girls can be difficult to deal with, also. Of the two Billings clubs, Planet Lockwood is the better one. Shotgun Willies might be fun the first week of August, however. You will get all the bikers coming through on their way to Sturgis, and these guys are usually generous. Shotgun's is a landmark stop on the way to Sturgis, Fred's Lounge gets a lot of those guys also.
If you have anymore questions about the Montana clubs, I have been dancing there for 6.5 years now, and know more about the scene then I ever wanted to.
Promote yourself and earn more money! This is a business that is owned by strippers for strippers. Let's make that money!
Great Falls is a sweet place to work, if you're in the mood for laid-back. There's no champagne room and only one pd booth, so you're not going to break $1000, but the flipside is that there are no extras going on. Staff is awesome, girls are great, fees are medium.
I saw a few girls from Missoula come up and get frustrated with the place and only stay one night...you have to have a personality at this club- 'wanna dance' doesn't work all that well. Your dance and pole skills aren't important here either...it's all about how quickly you can grab tips on stage, how patient you are when you have to wait 5 hours for a customer to show up, and how good you can look wandering around under not-so-flattering lights
It's a good gig though, I'll be going back.

Hey, hey, hey, easy there. I worked there for over a year, and I'd say I'm fairly decent looking, having been hired as a walk in at the Buffalo Station, where Hale tends to be pretty damn picky, and working in both Missoula clubs for a while, too. And I wouldn't do extras if my life depended on itOriginally Posted by Paris

The problem isn't the customers or the house girls (what few remain), it's the owner. She hasn't put one red cent back into that place from day one, and she will literally hire anyone who walks through the door, which include methheads from town and the worst kind of road girls, one was fired from Teasers after coming in on her day off, getting loaded, and attacking a cocktail waitress in the middle of the bar after being asked to leave. She was fired from the Buffalo Station after passing out in a chair out on the floor from a near overdose. And Virginia knew all this and hired her anyway. How can she expect to keep her good house girls, when she tells us to our faces that this trash has priority over us because she's a road girl?
And she won't throw anyone out, on the off chance that she could squeeze another dime out of them. She won't hire a bouncer, so you have to be your own, and if you make someone leave, she goes medieval on your ass in front of everyone because you just lost her money.
There's a great group of guys who come in regularly to play poker, and they're are all that's keeping this place open. Traveling customers, not the locals or the truck drivers, are the worst about trying to get extras in there.
Rumor has it the place is for sale, so hopefully someone will buy it, torch the building, and build a really nice place there, because it's in a great spot, and has potential with a little advertising and better hiring practices.

Wow didnt know sagebrush sams was like that?

Planet Lockwood in Billings is NOT the better of the two clubs there. They are having problems with the church and vice has been in there due to drug problems. Jim, the owner is focusing on more of a hip hop crowd and he puts no money into the club. He is milking it for all he can until he can unload the property.
Some of the housegirls don't take kindly to road girls and will try to sabotage them. I have booked there numerous times over the last 3 years and never again.
Shotgun Willie's girls are nicer and the road girls who sell dances well are always welcomed back. I book there every 4-5 weeks. You get A LOT of stage time there and your knees can get sore, but it is much better than Planet.
Billings is the largest city in Montana and if both clubs which are visible from the Interstate would put up better signs and advertise, they would make a killing with all of the traffic from out of town that passes through.
As far as Sagebrush Sams goes, I only worked there once, and I didn't see extras as a problem then, but across the mountains west of Billings, clubs don't work the paid bookings anymore with the exception of pay for some girls at Sagebrush. Clubs with paid bookings have a limited amount of dancers unless they work road girls with pay and have a large pool of house girls. Butte, where Sagebrush is, is a poor town. That partially explains the clientele. In that area between Bozeman and Butte, you have 3 clubs, and not that large of a population. Sagebrush doesn't have as many dancers as Teaser's and Buffalo Station, and as a result doesn't get as many customers.

Scarlett, regarding the Playground, my fiancee' checked the club out and like you posted mentioned that they have no private dance area.
He said there was an accordion dressing screen in the back corner with one chair behind it, and that only one girl sold a dance while he was there. He said a Bubba looking bouncer held the girls purse and was standing right next to the screen staring in there the whole time she was dancing. And that was only one dance. He's very critical and knowledgeable about clubs and said "forget that place".
My question to you Scarlett is how can you make any money with no place to dance and the bouncer breathing down the customers neck? When you say $1000 is not possible there are you talking about for a 6 day booking week, or a night? I have worked at small town clubs with base pay and where selling a dance is a rare thing and only made $1200 or so for the entire 6 day booking. Needless to say I don't book those clubs anymore.
I like clubs where customers are "trained" to buy dances, as that is where the money is.

Butte isn't necessarily a poor town, there are the gold mines, the State Prison in Deer Lodge, the silicone chip plant, a Jack Nicholas(sp?) signature golf course in Anaconda 20mi away, etc. But people are very tight with their money in this area (until it comes to Texas Hold 'Em poker, lol) . I've lived in the area for quite a while, and there is money here, but with an out & out refusal to advertise and by driving away all her quality dancers, Sam's will never get a dime of it.

That is the tip of the iceberg. I got tired of sitting in there for $20 a night, and passing TWO overflowing truck stop parking lots and TWO busy hotels 1/2mi away from the place on my way home every night. Sam's could do just as much business as Fred's Lounge in Missoula (which has paying customers at 2pm, for Pete's sake!!!) if she would pull her head out of her ass and run it like a strip club instead of a bible school.Originally Posted by buffalo29

Thank You , Some of our dancers can be seen on our website, but not all of them, I would say we have a fairly diverse group right now.
Thanks for checking out the site.
Oops, sorry- it took me forever to actually see this post!My question to you Scarlett is how can you make any money with no place to dance and the bouncer breathing down the customers neck? When you say $1000 is not possible there are you talking about for a 6 day booking week, or a night? OK- well, while I was there, it went like this: bored, no money until 9:00 or so, then it starts trickling in, and 12:00 onwards is very busy, with lineups for the pd booth.
With pd and stage tip money I managed about $300-600/night (usually closer to $300, to be fair).
The girls there don't hustle much...and yes, the bouncer watching the dances is a bit odd, lol. But the dances do sell if you hustle, and the guys don't seem to worry too much about the bouncer watching. They're mostly regs, so they know what the deal is. I had only two guys in two weeks back out because of the bouncer, and did lots of 5 for $100 deals.
I dunno...I may have been there at a good time...(late Oct.)? I was also not too concerned with money as I was there visiting friends who work there. Being from a place where we bust our butts for $1000/week, I'm easily impressed.
My opinion, $2000+ a week is very doable there.

yeah,,,not to mention the fucked up lap dance chairs @ sams ,where your feet can plunge 10 inches down cuz is rotten and worn out,,, you can easy hurt yourself on those chairs...springs poppin out can be dangerous too. and the fans blowing cold air are such a pain , when u r on stage u just freeze- i got sick from those once-. plus, no rap or r&B music is allowed and the d j will play his music instead of yours , but i have to say there cant be extras there cos the dances are not private. i worked there one month and i was lucky for a very good customer. one day they hired a girl seriously averaging the 250 lbs by 5'1'' and a huge bush of pubic hair. priceless sight
OH i hated the fucking chairs at sams for dances...Madison cut the hell out of her knee on one once...'memeber that Madison?
I worked at sams for a few months and while some of the girls were not top notch pretty I wouldnt consider myself ugly or average.
I was a newbie at sams so i didnt really notice if there were extras or not...kinda oblivious to that .,

not to mention the 20 $ bills that went down the dj s pockets road when u r busy with the customer so cant go get a new ticket and give him the money for another dance instead...many times i was short of dances with their stupid ticket system and guess where those 20 s ended up.

The week I worked at Sams was awhile back. She put my picture in the paper as a feature. It was in the winter and I made less than $1000 for the week.![]()
I always dance to R&B and mild rap wherever I work. Sounds like they have really gotten redneck. Even though plenty of Montana guys look like Festus on Gunsmoke (flop hat on, bandana around their neck) and some actually have red necks to match their personalities, many of the young folks there LOVE hip hop and R&B.
Those lap dance chairs are somthin' else aren't they?![]()

.... call them chairs...! i like some rap too , like r kelly and heavier stuff like ludacris but there , not a chance... the fatto d j just went on with pearl jam and aerosmith ...lol
Did you work there when there was a poker dealer named Cutter?
Omg Does Duce still work there?
(at sams)

yes deuce is an institution in there he ll be d jeing until he dies...still armpit smelly and blackened-rotten teeth,.........................i worked there the whole month of may...the card dealer were 2 but none called cutter...
