    Default new boob anxiety

    hi there ladies (and gentlemen)

i just got new breasts last week and i am a little nervous. one of my boobs is dropping really nicely and the other one is lagging behind. i know there can be a difference between the two but i'm wondering about other peoples experiences.
they were fairly identical to begin with and he used identical bags and cc amounts. they're under the muscle, smooth round bags.
its like the slow one started to get kinda deformed... if i recline the fold of the breast sticks out farther than the curve of it. (the other one doesn't do this)
i'm just hoping that it will catch up. it still has a pretty big knot in it.
i've been massaging the hell out of them. is there anything else i can do
    more ice, heat, creams??????
    argh help!

I think you should call your doctor first and let him take a look at them and see what he says. I dont know too much about breast implants, but I do know that if I were you I would make a visit to the dr.

I agree, go see your doctor. However, it's only been 1 week and your body is still healing. It takes a few weeks just for the swelling to go down. If I'm reading your description correctly, it sounds like the implant may be a bit lower than the natural curve of the breast?

one of mine dropped way quicker than the other. Basically I had one dropped boob and one still high for awhile. I never massaged mine however (per docs orders)

yes the implant is slightly lower on one of the breasts curve. i can only tell when i'm reclining. i just wanted to see if anyone else noticed that sort of thing during their healing process and wondered how it turned out.

Ok, that's normal. On some girls, one boob will heal faster then the other. It depends, it may take a while....but it's normal, so don't freak out. Plus you're just one week right now.

And massaging, if the Doc reccomended it...do it. If not, you don't have to.

Remember, full recovery takes a very long time. About 6 months to a year.

    Good luck with everything.

Ive seen many girls have one softer/dropped more/more natural.. looking than the other w/ in the few weeks of surgery. Usually one massaged more than the other....one got special attention on acident. But, eventhough I dont have fakies yet I would go see a doctor just to make sure.

mine dropped in sync with eachother, but its more then normal for them to go seperatly. it nothing to worry about, but it could help ease your mind more if you check it out with your doc

don't get upset about the way your new boobs look for at least 6 weeks after surgery. There are so many individual differences regarding swelling, fluid retention, skin elasticity etc. that things can look quite bizarre during the first few weeks post-op. But by the 6 week mark these almost always go away.

If you still have issues 3 months from now, that's a different story which should be discussed with your plastic surgeon. I've been through this 5 times so far, and every time things looked a whole lot better 6 weeks post-op than they did during the first week or two.

Don't worry that is very normal. Most people's boobs drop at different times after augmentation. You really can't get a very good idea of what your boobs are really going to look like yet since its only been a week. It will take a little while for the other one to catch up.
