    Smiley the S-factor

I just bought the book the s-factor! I read about it somewhere on here. IT is amazing teaches you some floor work , basic, and some routine. As well as some pole work. I am so ready for my audition now. And feeling alot more confident about it thanks to this board and that book. i suggest that u go and get this book if ur scared and kinda clueless about dancing!

I also have the 3 S-Factor dvds which are good too. One of them is for pole work. If you are looking for ideas, the Carmen Electra striptease workouts (discs 1, 3, 4) are fun too. Disc 2 is a toning workout only, and disc 5 is hip hop dancing.

Definitely think they are best for beginners. I really liked them and got some cute moves from them. S-Factor is more slow/sensual, while Carmen's is more dancy and fast. Hmmm, my Sfactor book didn't have cut out cards...

I have the Sfactor pole dvd too, but haven't looked at it since I don't have a pole yet. I would think that would be a little more advanced.

Both Sfactor and Cardio Striptease are really good for building confidence, something we can all use before taking off our clothes in front of others!

Actually, I had a look-see at it. It's not advanced at all...it's very, extremely basic. Nothing hard or challenging...at least not for someone who already can do some pole work. For any beginner, I am sure that it'll be a nice workout, though.

The only places I found the S-Factor were at www.sfactor.com and ebay. I ordered mine from the sfactor site, and they arrived in less than 1 week.

Carmen's are on her website, but I got mine off ebay. The mass merchandisers only carry the first 2 (I got mine at Borders), but you can find the rest on ebay (where I picked up #3). I've heard if you order from her site it takes several (3-4) weeks.

Thanks Venus for the info on the sfactor pole dvd. I'm hoping to get a removable pole soon so I can try some moves out.

Scriptmaker, I haven't tried any of the other strip dvds besides the ones above, but would be curious if anyone else has???

I have the poekatz DVD and really liked the instruction. They start with some pretty basic moves, but it's perfect for the beginner. I've been taking pole dancing classes once/twice each week for the last 4 months, and this DVD had some neat variations on some of the tricks we learned.

Not so hot for floor movement, but still worth it!
