    Default hawkish features?

i saw in another thread the term "hawkish features", and i can guess what it means... But would like a better defination of what it is?

Im so curious because someone said my friend had hawkish features the other day and i had no idea what he was talking about??? And i didnt want to bring it up to her afterwards, incase it was a negative remark.

Would you consider it a "put down?"

I would def. NOT consider that a compliment lol.
Let's see hawks have huge beaks and small squinty eyes.
So if someone said that to me I would be pretty insulted.

To each his own i guess

I think hawkish features indicate a large hooked nose.

Look at Daniel Day-Lewis, he has hawkish features and he is a sexy muthafucka!

I totally agee that a man look's sexy with ''hawkish'' features and some women can too. It depends on the person really. But in most cases average people don't tend to have the bone structure of Daniel day lewis or Julia roberts(she is the only female celeb that i could think of who has some-what'hawkish' features, although she is still not the best example).

Okay, I thought of a better example.Juliette Lewis has a 'hawkish' looking face. And so does Barbara Striesand.

Oh, my gosh. This thread is so funny--especially since the hawk pics were posted. Anyway, I think a hooked nose is considered hawkish.

hook nose = paris hilton. Hawkish? Not a compliment, I'd say. At least not for a woman.

I think of Angelica Houston. Large, hooked nose, squinty eyes, strong cheekbones, angular face...not a compliment.

That was probably my post you were referring to since I'm the only person I've ever met with a boyfriend who seems to be attracted to "hawkish" features. If the topic comes up I'll ask him what he means. I think it's like a nose with a hump or a I dunno. Maybe I'll look at that pic of the hawk up there! I just know I don't have them and never have. Even before my nose job I had a wider nose but never anything resembling a hawk. I thik what kittykat1971 said sounds right though, large hooked nose, squinty eyes, strong cheeckbones, angular face. sounds rigth. I know he once told me Sigourney Weaver was hot and he is in love with those damn Alien movies.

You bet. And if you look at Jessica close enough from the side she has a beak too. Smaller than her sister, but still a bump thingy. I think it sets her apart though, and i like it on Jessica. Not Ashley.

Sometimes that flaw is attractive i think.

I kinda liked her nose better before. It looks more bony now.
Eiether way though she is beautiful.

You know what I don't understand? How paris hilton has had 2 nose job's and her nose looks like this
She looks so much better in the 'before' photo. Her nose actually looked smaller before. I like her with her natural eye color too instead of those fake blue contacts she always wears.
