what they all said. The dancing that looks like she just walked in from a regular club, the clothing that looks like lingerie, and the low heeled shoes. Or they will wear those big boxy flip flops that are only 3" high.
Yep, dancing. And then there is the strong possibility that they make more $ than you do that night, triggering in men the "fresh meat" part of the whole thing.
deer in the headlights look, or looking like it's not fun. also, doesn't chat up the the men.
Sitting off to the side, nervously giggling anytime one of the house dancers talks to 'em.
life is only what you make of it
Getting too drunk very early in the night. Looking nervous. Asking millions of questions to the other dancers. Wearing "conservative" outfits. Dancing very self consiously and often hardly moving and / or repeating the same movement over and over... ahh poor things (-:

I think it's definitely stage AND unflattering clothes. Usualy newbies wear babydolls or some other type of lingerie only suited for the bedroom
Let's not forget holding onto the pole for dear life. ;-D
Some sure signs of a newbie (for humor purposes):
- Shoes (wearing pumps or some lower level of platform sandle upposed to full platform shoe)
- Hanging close to the house mom or talking to the floor guys and staff rather than to customers
- If she does go with the standard platform shoe; Walking close to walls, rails or other supports to keep from falling
- Nervous transtions on stage, keeping eyes almost closed, looking up at ceiling, etc. Continuing to dance awakwardly in the middle of the stage unsure how to approach guys along the tip rail for tips
- You ask her her name and she has to pause while trying to remember it, or tells you she forgot it
- A really bad tan line cause she's not used to wearing t-backs while tanning
- Outfits that look like they were bought from the lingerie section at Walmart
- DJ calls her to "A - Side" or "The Foxy Stage" and she stares at the DJ booth looking for direction
- She's wearing way too much glitter or purfume not yet knowing custys don't want to have that kind of evidence rub off on them
- You ask about dance prices or how VIP works and she calls over a waitress for help
- She hasn't yet learned to cover the tatoo that says her real name
- She dances on stage like she's in a night club instead of doing a stage show
- Her antipersperant is glowing under the black lights
If you can't win. Make the fellow in front of you break the record.
Okay, I hope the previous post provided a chuckle or two.
Now what I would say as a customer is don't try too hard to not appear like a newbie. Certainly practice, and try to be as comfortable and un-awkward as possible, but I still recommend that you embrace being a newbie. This is one of those times that custy's will tip you just because. Guys will come up to tip you on stage, who otherwise might not, just to welcome you to the club or to dancing. Some will send of a waitress (since it often that newbies are too nervous to approach anyone. lol) and ask to be your first dance.
Have fun and best of luck.

the wal mart night gowns is my biggest pet peeve my god get some dace gear itw okay the very first night but please don't wear it for you first month. My god one new dancer i knew never cought on she kept buying it and thougt it was cute. gag me she looked like kmart ad.
I'm sort of a newbie in my club and honestly nobody can tell... when I tell them I've been dancing only four days they ask why I'm I lying.. but there is another newbie there also and we can all tell cause she hardly takes her clothes off, she seems nervous, her clothes looks like summer outfits, and she hardly hustles for dances, that to me is a total newbie and she's been there a week longer than me.
another thing is asking lots of questions..
Lol. Some of the outfits i've wanted to buy online are babydolls. Do you mean the gross babydolls, the lingerie type babydolls, or babydolls with cool fabrics that basically just look like minidresses? Eeek, help, what should i wear?Originally Posted by Meea

I love the way babydolls look on me. I always wear this pink one by Leg Avenue--it has a 50's look. I guess it's okay as long as it's sheer and sexy, not the ill-fitting, tacky satiny-looking lingerie.
