Well I over did it in the tanning bed. Now I am peeling so bad on my face. Does anyone have any suggestions? Do you think that steaming or maybe exfoliating my face will hurt or help? I will take any suggestions...Thanks.

Well I just did that recently and damn I know how you feel! I waited to exfoliate b/c my skin was super sensitive and hurt when I touched it.
*I used aloe I bought for a dollar at Target (it was mostly my face and shoulders) made my skin feel cool and didnt hurt as bad; also it helped with my face not look to peely.

I don't usually have a problem with burning and peeling but my mother always did.
She would take regualr tea bags (the kind you make iced tea out of) and get them soaked, then she would put them on her face like a cold compress. The tea will help witht he swelling and burning and it will also help to "tint" your skin a little so the redness isn't as bad. She kept them on there for 15min 3 or 4 times a day. Then use aloe after to moisturize.
I WOULD NOT use any regular lotions or anything. Most of them have alcohol in them which will dry you out and irritate the skin more. If you do use lition, make sure it has none or very, very littel alcohol in it.

I use body drench's wipe out w/ aloe or banana boat(aloe)
Thanks a lot....I am off to try it out. Have a great day.
Kitana, whenever I get a burn my mom always would get out the tea bags for me (and then lecture me on getting too much sun and all that.) It felt like it helped but I don't know if it just feels good in general to have warm tea on you.
